Character Background

Has a complicated history and a disapproving Mom who hates her being a Jedi.
Her Grandmother was a Jedi Padawan who left the order during the Clone Wars, having an affair with a clone (who also left). Said clone tried to kill her in Order 66 thanks to the chip in his head, and she had to kill him, already pregnant. Her mother was born but loathes Jedi for what happened. Scout is unaware of any of this.
Her father was an Alliance fighter pilot who was killed by Imperial pilots.
Has been very coddled and protected by her mother from the galaxy because of this history. Their family isn't exceptionally wealthy, although they're not poor. Her mother has a reasonable job as a legal secretary. Scout has, before Jedi life, lived a very protected, insular life and is very naive.

Raw Material

Naive and coddled, and very much the goody two shoes who always does as she's told. Joining the Jedi against her mother's wishes is the first big act she's ever done that is not what somebody wants her to do.
She's girly, and utterly obsessed with the colour pink. Like, really obsessed. Her lightsaber blade is pink, her hilt is painted pink, her tunic is pink, her boots are pink, her belt is pink... If Barbie was a Jedi, they'd share a tailor.
She's simply not a fighter. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. Although she wants to do well and be the best Jedi she can, this simply doesn't come naturally to her at all. Her instinct is never to fight, and therefore she finds it very difficult, not helped by her petite and generally physically weak frame.
She is particularly talented in the field of mental manipulation. She is naturally very empathic, and tends to be very good at reading people even without the Force. With it, she is very good at Jedi mind tricks, especially for her early age and stage of training. She's even so advanced that she's capable of putting suggestions in people's heads subtly, without them realising they're there, at times. She's reasonable at telekenisis and good at her book studies, meaning she knows certain history well, but only that which she's studied. Even basic galactic common sense she can be naive about thanks to her coddled upbringing.
She likes to look good, and smell good too. She loathes getting dirty, sweaty or tired. She can be a bit impractical, has a fondness for heels even on her Jedi boots (to help her 5"2 frame, and because she likes them).

Plot Ideas

A Master to train her! I really want to develop a good Master/Padawan relationship where they're close and go on lots of missions together.

She encounters a Sith/Imperial on a mission and has to fight for her life, which due to her lack of skill puts her in extreme danger.
She spends time with a tomboyish padawan, both on a mission, perhaps somewhere unpleasant, Dagobah or something. Their personalities clash but they emerge great friends.
She has to plant an idea in to somebody's head without them knowing, Inception style.
Somebody else discovers the past of her grandparents and uses that knowledge however they would; possibly telling her, possibly not.
Simple training to improve her skills and help her develop.
