For the last 90 years, the militaristic dictatorship of the Ascendant Empire has waged an expansionist war against the rest of the galaxy from their seat of power in the Inner Rim, under the leadership of a long line of Chiss Emperors; the current one going by the name of Krow. The sole obstacle between Emperor Krow and his goal is the Galactic Alliance Remnant, a coalition of various worlds and cultures from the Outer Rim, that stands up for democracy and liberty.

Having withdrawn from politics altogether and settled their Temple in the Hapes Cluster, the Jedi Order has assumed a neutral role of traveling peacekeepers and protectors of the weak, free to roam across the borders of the galaxy. Several Jedi have vanished deep within Imperial space, however, with no official word from the Emperor or his ministers, and word begins to spread of a conspiracy.

The Cabal of the Sith have infiltrated corporations, organisations and even governments across the galaxy, gathering power and wealth for when their time comes.

It is a galaxy of constant unease, but also of hope and idealism. 250 years after the Battle of Yavin the galaxy is still at war, but there are always heroes on all sides, as well as villains...
