Palara Iscandar
25* :: Twi'lek/Empire/Imperial Knights :: Imperial Knight
Currently in: Imperial Centre (Coruscant)/Imperial Space/Jovan
Character Background
Once an abused slave, became an Inquisitor and was made a Knight
Trained personally by Imperial Knight-General Atrapes
Raw Material/Plot Ideas
Has been trained extensively in infiltration, reconnaissance, and espionage, as well as investigation and combat. She is meant for a variety of roles, but is often on her own and 'behind enemy lines'.
As a Twi'lek serving the Empire, she has firsthand knowledge of the xenophobia, prejudice, and tyranny that oppresses non-humans.
She has a deep, abiding hatred for slavery, but also is a cynic and does not see the galaxy or the peoples that live in it as inherently good or decent.
As an Imperial Knight, she is frequently tasked with arresting or killing politicians, military or government personnel, and other people who are deemed a threat to the rule of Miranda Tarkin; as well as being sent to oversee military operations by Starfleet or Stormtrooper/Army Corps.
Existing Relationships
Has fought Jedi Masters Solomon and Wei, as well as Loklorien s'Ilancy. She has also been trained at one point by Jedi Master Solomon in using the Light Side of the Force.
Has flown with and keeps contact with smuggler and freighter pilot Ben Merasska. With him she has seen much of Alliance space.
Trained personally by Imperial Knight-General Atrapes, and is a comrade to or at the very least known to most veteran and cadet Imperial Knights.
Current Plots
The Imperial Knights are currently enacting a series of purges of the Imperial bureaucracy and Military.
A number of small rebellions led by Imperial warlords have broken out in various sectors due to the ascension of Empress Tarkin, forcing the Knights and Military to deal with them also.
Due to the purges and increased pressure on them by the Knights and Imperial Intelligence, warlords and disaffected Imperials have fled into the Corporate Sector and Hutt Space and disappear. Palara has been sent on deep cover missions to find them.
The Imperial Knights, including Palara, are sent to neutral sectors and worlds to bolster, train, and influence parties sympathetic to the Empire.
