CYOA: Minion Dominion

You wake up early, like usual, to serve your Master. Life as a minion is pretty good. Being a servant to someone like your Master means you'll never want for food or clothing or a warm place to sleep. Sure, the trade off is you might become part of one of his experiments, or killed by his enemies, but things have been peaceful for a long time and he stopped experimenting on his minions. You're pretty sure, anyway.

1. A. Let's put on our lab coat. It's a hand-me-down with a few scorch marks on it. There's a name on the lapel, but it isn't ours. Names are above our pay grade.

2. Randomizer says we're an old girl. We're certainly too old for this shit.

3. Wait, wait, wait. First we need to attend to the contraband ant farm in the hidden panel beside our bunk bed. Pretending we have minions of our own makes us feel powerful.

You almost forgot about the ant farm you cobbled together from bits and pieces and hid in the wall by your bed. Stupid stupid! Pretending to have minions of your own makes you feel powerful, or maybe just a little less pathetic, but it's good practice anyway. Not that you'll one day have your own minions, that's ridiculous. Isn't it?

The ants are busily making tunnels and shifting larvae from chamber to chamber. It looks like they have enough food in the farm to last them the day. You sit and watch them for a minute, pretending to give them orders on what tunnel to build next.
