Thread Icon request

Could we have a COUNCIL thread icon added for the Jedi forum? It will make it easier for me to see when Serena has been summoned. Just an idea.

I also went through and added "Jedi council" as a thread tag to the council threads I could find/remember, which can actually be searched for.

if we could sort by clicking the thread icons again, that would be cool.

To hijack this thread slightly, could we possibly look at revamping the tags a bit, in particular eliminating/merging tags that aren't really used and/or necessary anymore? In particular with the condensing down of the non-RP areas I think some of those tags can probably be cleaned up a bit (eg. [Games] was nearly always used for gaming-related topics, with the forum gone we can probably eliminate all the various console tags etc).

The console tags could still be used in the general discussion forum, which is where all the gaming threads went...I think?

Before we upgraded to vb4 all the icons were separated in collapsible ...sections? so there wasn't a huge wall of icons to stare at. The RPing icons all get used, they're just arranged badly because there aren't any divisions or sections. IMO.

They could be, except they hardly ever were used beforehand anyway even with a dedicated Gaming section. Not to mention that tags like [Xbox360] are probably out of date now with the newest generation of consoles.

I was just using those as an example though - I was more motivated to try and prune back the current wall-of-tags that we're presently greeted with when posting a new topic as I find it a bit unwieldly trying to locate the appropriate tag.

I have no comment on the RP tags as I don't post in those areas, but I think the non-RP ones could probably be cleaned up a bit. :)

I'm all for culling and compartmentalizing thread icons :) I'll look into it in a little bit. Cant't promise anything beyond cutting out some of the doubles, but I'll do my best :)
