I want to play an Imperial Senator, do I just create my character and roll into the Coruscant sub-forum and start posting or do I have to follow some sort of procedure that I don't know about?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the Imperial Senate has been reinstated since Palpatine dissolved it in A New Hope. There are plenty of levels of governmental bureaucracy, including sector Moffs, all of them under the tyrannical control of the Empress. We have had several people playing Moffs, and hopefully they'll chime in.

I'm sure there's room for you to take up a high-ranking Imperial official, like a Moff or a chief of staff, but not with the trappings of representative democracy. What do you have in mind?

The only senate around is the Alliance Senate.

Moff intrigues me. Does anyone know what the Cursus Honorum for that route might be?

The character I wish to put into politics, Luna Prown, is what would be considered rich nobility on Taanab, but I don't know if that buys her into the system or if she has to start as some sort of Stormtrooper.
