The Empire is in need of a few good soldiers who are capable of operating within a small ragtag unit that is being assembled to investigate an Imperial Biological Research Station, Codename: JOKIRO, located near [REDACTED]. The station has become unresponsive and due to the nature of the station's research into [REDACTED] it must be handled delicately lest the Alliance's spies learn of the station and it's research. Soldiers who apply must be capable of operating in a small unit, be close quarters combat proficient, and capable of keeping their mouths closed. This mission and the station are classified. Soldiers from all branches, Army, Navy, and Intelligence, are welcome to apply for the strike team. A wide array of skills may be required in order to determine the cause of the Station's silence, locate the scientists on board, and if necessary evacuate scientists and projects that can be relocated. Scientists lives are expendable. Apply immediately. There is no time to lose.

---

Jokiro Station, an Imperial biological think tank where old scientists are sent to finish out the last years of their lives working on biological research and developing medicine and weapons, among other projects, has gone silent. It was attacked by within by the Sith Alchemist Ezra Na'chtion, an associate of one of the scientists stationed onboard, He has released several animal mutations within the station while developing his Alchemy and all the scientists perished soon afterwards. The station has had it's environment transformed radically to support the monsters, and as a result the systems are failing rapidly. Already the station is undergoing a degenerating orbit around the the star is sits above and will eventually be pulled into said star and destroyed. Even after leaving the station, the Alchemist left his failed mutations behind, some of which have bred and increased numbers. The environment is extremely hostile.

I'd be keen to participate. Orem is a sort of accidental defector, but I'd like him to get back into the Imperial fold, and this might be an interesting way for him to do so.

What sort of skills does Orem bring to the team? A defector doesn't seem like the kind of guy you throw into a mission like this unless he has a sought after skill set. It's not a big deal, just want to get to know your character a little bit before hand.

He was Imperial Intelligence, and was tasked with watching over Milivikal k'Vik who touched him in the head a bit and then abandoned him with the Alliance. Since then he's been doing odd jobs here and there; mostly maintenance work of Alliance cruisers. But his hidden forte is intel and information extraction. His memory just needs to be triggered, pretty much.

Sounds like there is some setup that needs to go down first before he can go on this mission (IE: Getting his mind back). Is that something that can be accomplished?

Sorry for not replying sooner.

I was thinking that this mission would be a good venue for his memory to be fully triggered? I can definitely see him having some nagging wisp of memory that he feels compelled to investigate, and so makes his way to Jokiro where he unexpectedly runs into the Strike Team.

That's definitely an option. Perhaps a rifle butt to the head.

I'm thinking he gets there before Jarvan and his troopers do, and they of course assume that he's responsible for the damage to the station and the death of the scientists. It'd be really helpful if we had another intelligence agent to recognize and/or confirm Orem's identity once he remembers, but maybe he can talk his way out of it, or the station goes to pot and they have to pull out quickly.

If he's there first, I could totally write up an intro that has an awesome feel of Alien Isolation mixed with Resident Evil :)

As for another Intel member, possibly Charley's Sheldon Esalis character?

I'm in, if its not too ridiculous that Bette is taking part. She can be the pilot. :)

Sounds good Orem.

Of course Bette can take part.

I've no capacity for writing in this sort of thing but I am looking forward to reading it.

We're operating in a Galaxy in which a few mildly talented amateurs blew up two major pieces of military hardware in four years. I think talented professional flies special mission is far from ridiculous in these circumstances.

I put an open tag on it since I wasn't sure, but I can change it to closed if you'd like.
