Bio:
Kora Tau grew up in a relatively wealthy family, never having to deal with the harder aspects of life. Her father owned his own business and provided for the family with ease. Her mother also worked. As her years passed from childhood into young adulthood, Kora maintained a steady interest in travel and exploration, and she possessed a rather maddening desire to take things apart and put them back together - often with 'upgrades'.
When she turned seventeen, her parents sent her to Corulag to begin her extended studies at the Imperial Academy. It was an ill match right from the beginning, but Kora managed to excell in her studies enough to make it to graduation. For four years she focused on piloting, engineering, and slicing, recieving many high marks. She graduated with honors - or would have, except that on the day of graduation, she skipped out on the ceremony in order to put her four year long plan into motion. Using the skills that she'd learned at the academy, Kora stole the private yacht of the academy's commandant, a Baudo-class star yacht that she renamed the Mori-Mako.
Six years on, and she is still quite happy with herself, traveling from system to system. Due to her constant fiddling, the Mako's AI is something of a beautiful mess that only a slicer could love.
