What's an average day in the Fountain Palace like?


Chume Beatrix gets up early and doesn't like to eat breakfast by herself, so that means that a great number of people are also up even earlier in anticipation of her waking. The Fountain Palace kitchens rotate a variety of her favorite breakfast items, ones that meet with her mother's approval. Presently Beatrix likes anything with chocolate in the title, but complies with her mother by also eating fruit, or by drinking all her juice. After breakfast, she attends her morning schedule, usually accompanied by Lira Terranova, her Hapan Royal Guards and also at least one of her Chume'nor at all times. The Chume enjoys most all of her teachers and classes, and is an excellent student already showing an inclination toward languages and science. Lessons are followed up by free time to herself, which is typically spent playing in the conservatory gardens within the royal apartments that have been built for her, and culminating with a nap in the same location, or her room.

In the afternoon each day for a few hours, she joins Razielle at court listening to any matters that may require the Queen Mother's attention, while also learning how to attend to such occurrences decisively. If there is to be a special guest or an engagement that would be accompanied by a formal late supper, Beatrix is allowed to attend for the meal before retiring back to the royal apartments accompanied by Lady Terranova, as well as her Chume'nor. Otherwise, she has an earlier dinner with some, or all of them before they move to the Queen's Drawing Room. Once there, most nights Lira reads to her, while her mother and Lord Adair try to not makes faces at each other while they play cards. Lord Adair is better at this. Sometimes Beatrix wants to play too and insists that the lot of them endure several rounds of Chume Says before beginning her bed time routine.

Preceding bed time is bath time. Chume Beatrix has a bath that she has in fact swum laps in, and a floating replica of the Hapan Royal Navy. After pajama's, but before bed, she is permitted to pick a holovid to watch and has a acquired a significantly extensive collection, most of which arrived for her from benefactor fairy godparents on Onderon. She has a preference for action vids, and will often be joined by her mother to watch one. Lastly, Beatrix is always tucked in with one of her stuffed animals, presently a shark named Fiona.

It's true that living within the constant, and very revealing, illumination of the Hapes Cluster has presented some challenges. Time and privacy are not so much the issue. If I want to be alone, I say so. My word is law. I have determined to view these challenges as opportunity. A fortuitous chance to develop new, different skills.


Vulnerable? No. I was already capable of monstrous deeds before Hapes. Now I have my daughter's legacy to consider. I do not allow myself to be vulnerable.

The short answer is they died. :D Actually, you get the OOC answer on this one because IC is in a state of perpetual WTF.

Pretty much all of Razielle's pre-Onderon history is a leftover remnant of Pre-Reset Razielle's story which at first I thought I would be keeping to with someone else. *Glares at sister* but it was not to be. So the planet, Davora it was called was relatively small, but pretty substantially wealthy due to rare gems ( a kind of black diamond we were also going to have be compatible with lightsaber crystals, which is now also a fail!).

Anyways, the place was all turquoise seas and volcanic islands. Supposedly they had learned to to maintain the volcanic activity to in essence farm the gems and so forth. At the time I wasn't really going for plausibility. :p So this small planet's hubris at controlling nature was turned against it (supposedly by Raz who understood how it worked?) and while she was off world, the system went kablooey and all kinds of hell happened, and now the planet is radioactive and everybody died, except some refugees I left camped out in Iziz.

Raz is not Mysha. The rabble must not follow.

Actually if I had it to do over again I think it would be very different. XD
