Sassy Du'Wook

The wookie walked into the parlor looking for a typical target. Sassy had been needing no work for the past three weeks but now her funds were running low. She already had a reputation on certain parts of this planet; soon she would need to move on, perhaps after taking on one final heist. She spotted a few possible targets; people who were spending, but not spending too much. The latter group perhaps had only temporary fortunes that they were spreading around in good nature. No, what she wanted were those who had constant fortunes and didn't mind spending a little extra on the quality of their drink.
She spotted one getting up from his table, tipsy but not fully drunk, one of her marks. Good, this was very good. Sassy left the parlor and took up a position a few strides away from the entrance to the pub, just to where she wouldn't be spotted easily. He emerged a few moments later and made a beeline for what she presumed to be his home. She had no trouble keeping up while staying out of his sight, so focused was he to reach his abode. This boded well for her, she was getting vibes that perhaps all was not well in his life, hence his drinking.
She mewled softly when she saw his house as he fumbled for his keys. Yes, he would do nicely. Striding quickly now, she closed the distance as he entered his house, her foot just making it into the doorway before the wooden door was fully shut. He turned around upon not hearing the door close and lurched back with a soft cry when he saw a two meter tall wookie standing there with strange markings on it's face and brandishing a three meter tall staff.
"My friend, my friend, do not be afraid. I am here to help you, yes I am," said Sassy in her cackling voice.
"Who are you? W-What do you want? And why can I understand you?" he asked this last with a bewildered expression before he tested his own breath with his hand.
"I am Sassy, faith healer for those who are in need of healing. My friend, you can understand me because of cyber-necktic en-hans-ments and my friend, I want to help heal the evil wounds I sense in your heart. I could hear them calling to me from far away and I found you just before I would have lost you," said Sassy in a sad sounding voice.
He took a gulp as he processed all of this and then asked the inevitable question.
"What do you know of what goes on in my heart, what I'm feeling right now?" asked the man in an untrusting tone of voice.
"My friend, your heart cries at the loss of the one you loved, it seeps out of your pores and your attempt to drown it with alcohol does you no good no no no, it only makes your heart more plain to see, it gives it more of a voice, yes yes it does," explained Sassy. This was it, her guess pitch. If she guessed right, then she should be in. If she guessed wrong, well then he would probably wake up to her pitch being a scam, in which case he wouldn't be awake for long as she didn't want him to call security before she could make a clean break.
Tears brimmed at the edges of his eyes and she knew she had him even before he opened his mouth once more.
"My beloved Bedalia, Oh how I loved her so. But I was blinded by ambition and money and now they are all I have left," he cried pitifully.
"Oh come now come now, there is much more to see and be seen. But we cannot do this with a dark cloud looming over your head. Come, drag a chair to the center of this open room that we stand in. Sit and I shall heal you," instructed Sassy.
Now the show was about to begin.
