Crisis!

Because of the insidious Rebel Alliance and their terrorist weapons of mass destruction (and also Tear), the Corporate Sector is lost! Hundreds of loyal corporations from across the Galactic Empire find themselves stripped of billions of credits worth of investment. Worse, the oppressive Treaty and it's territorial stipulations has crippled Imperial industry yet further, cutting off vital commerce worlds and supply lines.

If the Galactic Empire's economy is to survive, it must adapt and rebuild...

In the Greater Javin! :dance

That's right, folks! This forgotten and neglected backwater is getting a new lease on life! The Galactic Empire has already approved investments that will help secure and gentrify this lucrative sector of real estate, and with a little help from my friends in the House of Tagge and the Intergalactic Banking Clan, we are taking it to a whole new level!

Moff Ceto Rübezahl cordially invites you, the Presidents and CEOs of the galaxy's major corporations and industrial giants, to a summit in scenic Cloud City to discuss the future of galactic business, and the extensive benefits and tax breaks that our Imperial funding allows us to offer you. All you need to do to be a part of this auspicious, historic event is RSVP to the comm channel below, and await your invitation package!

I look forward to us making history together.

See you on Bespin. ;)

The Banking Clan looks forward to a stable environment for trade to flourish. I can, aha, extend credit to proposed business ventures, so long as they are not burdened by any, ahem, political uncertainties. Indeed, I hope this consolidation only further encourages us to consider interstellar commerce on a truly galactic scale once again.

"I like to think of Greater Javin as my second home. It's no Naboo, but it comes close. It comfortably mixes work and play. I'll never be a dull boy."

New opportunities you say?

Well since I am experiencing a rather unforeseen liquidation of my assets with Silenus (Fraking force using sons of bitches threatening me and mine :grumble.) I think it would rather appropriate if I attended this lovely summit to see what new endeavors might be worth exploring. :mischief

As the Newly Appointed Grand Moff of Oversector Iron Hammer I feel any opportunity to increase domestic and foreign trade within Imperial space an event worthy of my time and presence. Much of my new agenda for Over Sector Iron Hammer revolves around commercially stabilizing the populace and increasing commerce both internally and externally. I look forward to seeing what ideas you have for the future of the sector and taking what lessons you can teach back to my Over Sector. The future of the Empire relies on stabilizing economy and trade and giving the population the ability to pay their taxes or face penalties. A dead population pays no taxes. I do have a list of accommodation and recreational needs I will send ahead of my arrival.

Though we are still reeling from the tragic loss of Lady Santhe, and the traumatic ramifications of Lianna's isolation from the rest of the civilized galaxy, I will never the less be all to happy to attend your little soiree on behalf of the Santhe Corporation and Santhe/Sienar Techn--

Why, hello there, Miss Shadowstar.

I'd heard stories about Cloud City, but I never realised that the scenery was quite so... stunning. :mischief

I have the utmost faith in Moff Rübezahl and Baroness Tagge's ability to put together a most excellent conference for us all, and am looking forward to being a part of it on behalf of Valorum Shipping and Transport and having the opportunity to, as they say, 'mingle'. What we discuss at this auspicious event will change the fate of every Sector I am responsible for, and indeed of the entire Galactic Empire; in the years hence, I sincerely hope that we are able to look back with pride at having been a part of it.

And Grand Moff Greth? Oversector Outer would be proud to welcome you into our sectors. Perhaps when your business on Bespin is done, you would care to join me on Eriadu to enjoy a few of the luxuries of home? We may be isolated out here on the frontier, but we make do.
