Haven't seen Dragon around, and almost forgot about the NFL season starting tonight myself. No idea who is around who plays regularly, but if Dragon's not around (and even if he is and wants to take a rest this year), I'm happy to try and run this this year.

Hey, thanks so much for doing this! I only remembered myself late last night, and I really didn't have a chance to get it posted. Honestly, I'd be happy to let someone else take the reins this year, since I'm going to be very busy over the fall.

The Baltimore-Denver game is probably a wash given that it starts in three minutes and no one's posted a pick yet, but if people are interested, there should be plenty of time to pick the games for Sunday and Monday. Even so, I'll go on record as picking Baltimore.

The Steelers, Jaguars, and Jets each started off the scoring with a 2-0 lead. I guess the league really is placing a stronger emphasis on safety this year.

Well, crud. That was a truly awful performance by the Steelers. Often in recent years they've had the problem of playing down to the competition, but in this game the Titans were simply the better team, and it wasn't even close. At least they aren't losing any ground so far in the AFC North... who, in retrospect, I picked to go 4-0 this week. :uhoh

Can't remember what we did in the past. For Liam (and maybe Kolrad) it's lowest pick results minus 1 right?

i.e. if the lowest score is 8-7 then their score would be 7-8, correct?

And I'm going to not include the Thursday night game this week, because I think a lot of people forgot about it.

Yes, lowest score minus one is the way we've done it before. And I think it makes sense not to count the Thursday game this week. Actually, I might be all for not counting this week at all, seeing how bad my picks have been... :x
