what's everyone's thought on the best Star Wars collector's item of all-time, keeping the original price under $10? mine just might be this june's issue of playboy, with bai ling rocking the light saber on the cover :). since it's been announced that she's been cut from the movie,i'm banking on the value going up (sort of like that dale murphy error card upper deck put out in '89)

Well that's something that I don't think will be very popular as an official 'collector's item'. Sure collectors may want to have it, but for reasons other than it's 'collectibility' if you catch my drift. It's not an official Lucasfilm product, so it will only get attention from those that want everything with the Star Wars logo on it. For example, I'm sure it's not something that Steve Sansweet will put much stock in as a collectible.

Besides, I wonder what she's doing with a lightsaber? She's a senator, not a Jedi.

I wouldn't really consider that issue of Playboy a colletible. I's put it right up there with the more risque items that people have made with a loose, VERY loose, connection to Star Wars. Things like animated sex films like Star Balz. (Not sure if that's the correct title.) Personally, I've seen the pics, decent, but I'm not that impressed.
