WHAM!!!

There was a muffled explosion, and suddenly the hatch door crumpled like a piece of flimsiplast. It began to fall in towards the ship corridor, and then immediately reversed direction as the vacuum caught it, and was cast out into the emptiness of space. Debris began spilling through the open hatchway.

In that corrider, the 6 men who had been planning a defensive suddenly cried out as they grabbed hold of anything nailed down. One man lost his grip and was sucked out of the ship, yelling. Somewhere down the hallway, a blast door began to close. The men knew that if that door sealed, they were dead...if not from the vacuum, then from the lack of oxygen.

However, several things happened in quick succession. The blast door shut, and the flow of objects began to die off. Ten massive figures in white armor, each of them standing 8 or 9 feet tall, clambered in through the open ship hatch. Another one sealed a piece of sheet metal over the hatchway behind him, and the ship corridor began to repressurize.

The men that had, until 3 seconds ago, been in danger of asphyxiation, however, were not relieved. They were instead scared out of their minds. The warriors standing before them looked like avatars of the gods. Each of them must have massed at least four times that of a normal man, and their armor looked like it was made out of solid, inpenetrable sheets of white durasteel. They each wore massive white helmets. Emblems decorated their armor, and all of them wielded a massive, double-barreled gun that was as big as a normal man's chest.

The warriors parted, and an 11th man strode through. Unlike the others, however, he did not wear a massive suit of white armor. Though he was still at least 8 feet tall, he looked thinner. His armor was apparently a different type than the others, and it was painted a dark green. He wore a white cloak over this armor, though the cloak was unscathed. A very faint hum was being emitted from the cloak. One of the crewmen realized that it must have been a personal shield generator. The 11th soldier's helmet, however, was frightening. It was the image of a white skull. The rest of the helmet was black, so only the skull stood out. Instead of a huge gun, he carried a sword at least 6 feet long that crackled with blue energy, and a short rifle that glowed with a subdued blue energy.

Without pausing, the skull-mask man grabbed the nearest crewman and picked him up with one arm, as if the man weighed nothing at all. He pointed the crackling sword at the man's throat. The man could smell ozone.

"Where is the bridge?" the masked man asked. "Tell me!"

The crewman gulped and gave him directions. With that, the huge man seemed to grin. He sheathed his sword. For a second, the crewer thought he was going to get to leave. The next second, the masked man hurled the crewman against the nearest bulkhead with enough force to shatter half of the bones in his body. The man screamed. The death-mask seemed to grin, and he motioned for his men to follow him.

"We'll proceed directly to the bridge, take it, turn this vessel around, and hold the bridge until we arrive at the Rock."

The men proceeded down the hallway. One impediment, however, remained...the foot-thick blast door. Without even pausing, however, one of the huge, white-armored soldiers charged forwards. His fist crackled with energy, and he punched the thick door with enough force that it sheared clean off of its tracks and clattered to the floor. The 11 men proceeded through the corridor, not even stopping.

"Nice punch, Lieutenant Kai." said the man wearing the skull-mask.

"Thank you very much, Captain Lysander."
