Milligan

It had been little over a month since the court of the Aarchim had been set alight with bickering. In the face of the opposing armies of the Tridon, General Gala had become scatterbrained and – as much as his peers did not wish to admit it – was loosing his grasp on the situation at hand. Many of the Captains of the realm had stepped forward, in the confusion, volunteering their services, offering to lead battalions and such like. When it came down to it, however, there was little that they could do now. The war was all but lost, and it was only a matter of time before their camps were overwhelmed.
It was this thought that had driven one captain to leave the planet. Not out of cowardice or in condemnation for the Aarchim, but with the hope that somehow she might be able to change the tides of the battle. Little over a week ago, she had commandeered a small transport vessel intended for diplomatic missions and taken to the skies.
As she lay sleeping in the cockpit, she dreamt of her encounter with another captain - Murnon Moriarci. It was he who had charged her with finding the task of travelling to Coruscant, though she did not believe that he had originally intended the order sincerely. At first she had believed that reaching the Jedi Temple there was impossible, but Milligan had always been possessed with a fierce tenacity and once hope had taken flight in her mind she found herself unable to think of anything else other than tracking down Kelt Simoson, and his Jedi comrades, and bringing them to the aide of the Aarchim.
Of course, she knew it would be no easy task. Her exhaustion from escaping the planets surface had forced her into sleep, and it was in this slumber that she fell prey to the first of perhaps many unfortunate events that would hamper her quest to bring help to the Aarchim. Beyond the main view screen, another ship approached, and its captain had far less noble intentions than Captain Milligan of the Aarchim.
