Sorry I have yet another couple of questions,

Are we allowed to bring abstract NPC ships into play in a thread. Say a medium sized fighter carrier for a specific storyline and possibly using it in branching storylines.

I wanted to develop a ship that my character often has problems with, having it popping up now and again to cause him trouble.

Doesn't seem like a problem to me :)

go ahead. No problems from the fleet rping side.

You see here, we use - amongst us military types - - the common sense rules which prohibit fleet lists and the sort of paper hanging bogging down that occurs all too frequently elsewhere. If you want to rp it, just let it make sense, - - if it does not, give it a damned good reason. For example, if this carrier is owned by say a rogue warlord or planetary defense force, then it could have Star Destroyers, though depending on the world,l it might be in considerable disrepair.

Any fleeting questions or others of ships, feel free to pm myself or Lion el'Johnson, myself an Imperial and the latter a dirty, rotten, good for nothing democracy loving Rebel.

***joking - - I like Lion....*

Thanks all :)

Thank you for the offer Telan, I will likely have questions in the future and it'll be nice to have someone to direct them to.

I wasn't thinking anything quite so big as a star destroyed, in my mind that would take a heck of a lot of resources. I was looking more at an escort craft of some kind or at most a frigate. Whatever I can dig up in the encyclopaedia with fighter bays.

Anything can carry a fighter with the right amount of modifications. Now, with space to work on it, repair, refuel, et all, that's different.

Your generic choices are as follows.

Imperial Escort Carrier
NR Flurry Class Carrier
Endurance-class Fleet Carrier
Nebulon-B Frigate
Nebulon C Frigate
Refitted Raptor-class Transport
Hapes Nova class Cruiser

et al

Thanks again, I think i'll go for the escort carrier. As for the group that are going to be using it, it seems appropriate :)
