As the thunder and lighting raged on outside the Jedi complex, Oriadin lay awake in his bed, listning to the drumming of the rain against the window of his living quarters. It was late, or early depending on how you looked at it, and the wise Jedi Knight had been laying there still for several hours unable to get to sleep. His painfull visions that had once plagued him but eventually subsided had returned, more frequent and more painfull than ever. He'd kept it from the other Jedi and his padawan Kale by simply telling them he wasnt feeling to well and spending most of his time reading the history books in the comfort of his living space. The main difference now was that the visions seemed to be making sense. He was remembering more from his visions and pieces seemed to fit together. One thing he did distinctly remember and the thing that occupied all his thoughts was a face. It was the face of a man Oriadin recognised from a mission not too long ago with his padawan whereby he had to investigate a man wanted by the council for the murder of a building full of civilians. Archer.

Archer was a man who'd worked as a security guard of the building he'd taken hostage. He was extraordinarily good at his job and made the building so safe, it was unlikely there was a single person in the galaxy that would be able to break in undetected. He was a master with technology and the research he put into anything was staggering. His world was turned upside down when he was layed of in favour of the son of the building owner. This enraged him and sought after revenge. He knew the security system like the back of his hand and used it against the owner to infiltrate the building. He sealed off all entrances and exits so that no one could enter, and no one could leave. He murdered five people without question and awaited for the Jedi to arrive to try to negotiate the situation. After a few mistakes by the Jedi, Archer had had enough and set about killing all the civillians within. By the time the Jedi had infiltrated the building hundreds lay dead and there was no sign of their killer.

Several months later, the Jedi got a tip off on his whereabouts and sent Oriadin, along with his padawan Kale to investigate. Their investigations led them to a down trodden bar, which ended up being blown away. This ultimately left Oriadin and Kale no leads and so the investigation ended there. Or so everyone thought.

A few days after the explosion at the bar, Oriadins visions started to come back. One in particular involved Archer. As he lay there thinking what this meant, he decided to simply follow the force and see where it led him. Somewhere along the line, Oriadin knew Archer and he had to find out how.

The following day, Oriadin awoke bright and early to noise of the hustle and bustle of Couruscant below. Everywhere people were waking up and going about their usual routines that they went through most days of their life. Today though, was the start of something different for the highly respected Knight. He got out of bed, washed, dressed in plain clothes (which was highly unusual) packed up a few things and headed out of his living quarters. As he closed the door behind him he stood there for a second simply taking in the feeling. It was his intention that this be the last time he walk out of his quarters in quite some time.

Of all the things he thought about during the night, Kale weighed on his mind more than anything. The young man needed direction in his life and deserved better than to be left in the lurch. Oriadin had no other choice though. His hunt for Archer was for personal reasons now. Archer was a dangerous man. A man driven over the edge and Oriadin knew him. That wasnt much to go on. What if Oriadin had illegal dealings with the man before losing his memory? What if they were old friends? Enemies? He decided this was something he'd do alone. He walked down the corridor, pausing for a few moments outside Kales door before continuing on and leaving the Jedi complex.

Once outside, he used the horrid public transport in order to make his way to the pub that had been destroyed while Oriadin and Kale had begun their investigation on Archer. As a rule, you didnt travel by public transport if you could. It was dirty, smelly and was either filled with alcoholics or death stick users... even this early in the morning.
