Impressive start by Pittsburgh. Theire up 21-3 halfway through

Steelers are definetly kicking the crap out of them, nothing else too suprising yet though. I'm watching Bills vs Jets, I hope the Bills pull this one off to help the Pats out :)

I hope Bucs beat the Chiefs. Not that I think they will do that, but it would be cool to see them pull it off :)

So here I sit watching my FF team, thinking my RBs have done an 'ok' job so far. All of a sudden, Clinton Portis gets credited for touchdown. But wait, its not a rushing TD.. and its not a receiving TD, could it be? Yup, Portis stepped in as quarterback and passed a TD. I LOLed

Next thing I know, Pittman rushes for a 78 yard touchdown (!). And now the Chiefs/Bucs game turned into a shootout. Could be very exciting!

Its this kind of madness which makes the game so fun
:D

LOL...Portis passed for a TD? Intresting.

In my other league right before the games started I need another RB so I picked up Wheatly in hopes he would do something and 2 early TD's!

Its official, the Bucs pulled the upset. Man of the match: Michael Pittman with a combined 158 yds and 3TDs. Maybe Tamba Bay will start playing some football now for the rest of the season. Fun game (although it messes up my weekend pick). On another note, it looks like Priest Holm is injured. Not sure if its serious.

Wow, that Arizona/Miami game was tight. I originally picked Arizona but changed it to Miami in the last second. Very dramatic finish.

And New York Jets lost against Buffalo. Buffalo gained some slight advantage, and the Jets never could quite catch up, although it looked like they might pull their act together in the last minutes.

Oakland/Carolina game seemed like pure lottery. Could have gone both ways, again exciting finish.

My Tampa pick looks to be the overall highlight of the weekend. McNabb got me a little more than nothing as far as fantasy points go. Not really sure on the rest of the way. Another impressive showing by Pittsburgh, though today I think the defense was a bit more impressive in all but shutting down Philly's offense. Tomorrow night's game should be interesting, depending on which version of each team shows up. Advantage to the Colts both at home, and the Vikings without Moss - even to use as a decoy.

Man, they need to stop making game time decisions in football. It's not my fault I'm sick and woke up at 1 only to see my starting RB, Staley, listed as out. ><

Yay for the Bills. *holds up buf banner* ^____^

If it makes you feel any better, Staley being injured and out of the game got 2 less points than McNabb did for me and he started and played. I think that the fantasy aspect this year has been just as unpredictable as the real games. Granted, that would tend to seem obvious, but there are many times that players still perform well despite their teams sub-par performances. This year seems to have more sub-par player performances regardless of wins or losses.

The Patriots' kicker Adam Vinatieri also had a TD pass for 4 yards. I thought that was funny.

I was quite happy when I saw the Pats succeed on that trick play, since Vinatieri is my fantasy kicker. :)

Ditto. But I still ended up losing since Vinatieri had more TD passes than my QB.

Thats kinda sad Cyrel...

Vinatieri had a huge game, 4 FG's, 1 TD, 4 EXP = 22 Points, not bad!

In other news Wandstedt is finally done for the Dolphins!

Maybe the team will finally give up on Fiedler and find out if Feeley or Rosenfels is the answer, at this point might as well go for it and along the way snag that #1 pick.

What terrific news to wake up to this morning! Wannstedt will be "resigning". Let's start the rebuilding already! :D

That news totally overshadows the fact that I had another terrible week in our pool here.

Why couldn't have I believed in the Bucs!!!! I knew the Chiefs would put up a ton of points, what I never expected was for Tampa's offense to actually make an appearance. Oh, well, I made up one game on Satan.

"Best Team in the NFL" this week goes to the Steelers. They didn't just beat the Steelers and Pats, they beat up on them. Of course this doesn't mean all that much at this point in the season, but Steelers fans should be happy. Their team looks solid and they've got control of their division.

The Colts are going to break their fans' hearts. That offense is beautiful and Manning looks like he's got a shot at Marino's single season TD record. But their defense BLOWS. To give up 3 TD's to a Vikings' offense that was without Randy Moss, at home, is embarrasing. They're ranked last on defense and I just don't see them getting to the Superbowl unless they miraculously find a secondary. The only shot that they have is HF advantage and I can't see them overtaking the Steelers or the Pats to get it.

Fig, I put up over 90 pts but your damn kicker basically sealed my fate. Curse you Vinateri!!!! :shootin
