Anybody else seen the previews for this

It's based on a series of Children books which are pretty popular (not Harry Potter popular but popular). Jim Carrey does look very funny in it.

I read the first three books and thought they were ok for young readers, but I lost interest pretty quick - I found they all pretty much followed the same formula. As a movie though, it might work - I thought the trailer looked pretty decent - and yes Jim Carrey looks cool as Count Olaf.

My youngest daughter enjoys the stories very much. I look forward to seeing this and hopefully it will be with her :)

Lemony Snickett: The Unauthorized Autobigraphy is one of the funniest cark comedy books I've ever seen. I highly reccomend it, and Syren is right, there haven't been any movies made from the books yet--with the exception of the one that comes out soon.

The books really are pretty funny, and delightfully wicked. They're easy reads, but worth it for a laugh.
