Reclaiming our lost.. (Salem then, Xanatos)

Things were progressing well for the Cabal, everyday more and more of the elite legions of the Undead and Would-Be Undead came forth to be recognized. That was all well and fine, for the newer of the Vampyres to come here. What was bothering Razielle was that she in her heart still longed for the older breed. Her heart sometimes still lay with the Coven. She missed her Master, that much was blatantly obvious, but also she searched endlessly for others that had been a part of the Coven.

Razielle had decided that night to talk a walk. Nothing so extravangant as a stroll down the side of a building as she was wont to do to frighten the villagers. She just left Elysium to wander the grounds within the massive walls. She came to stop her wandering at one of her favored thinking spots. The ruins of a long tumbled down temple that had begun to sink into the ground. Up from the earth there welled a natural spring. It was really quite lovely by any standards. But when one had Vampyric sight, it was stunning. The full moon shone a streak of silver upon the black night water, the water itself twinkled like gems. The overgrowth of plantlife which may appear gaudy during the day made the place a scented, secluded cove at night.

Sitting atop a fallen pillar, Razielle lay back and simply enjoyed the night. She would never, in all her long eternity, lose her wonder of the night. She really didn't miss the sun all that much, the violent orb meant nothing to her but of memory of something that had made her mortal body sweat and stung her eyes. The moon was far more gentle upon her. Relaxing she drifted into a stillness close to meditation, listening to the One heartbeat of their kind. Searching as ever for those she considered lost from them. It was then she sat upright.

Not one but two of the people she was searching for had become clear to her. She knew the whereabouts of both. One being a rather excentric Vampyre of the Coven, the other being her Master's brother. A smile lit her face. She would see them both welcomed here, immediately.

Salem, how would you like to go on a little trip...?

Salem, ever Razielle's shadow, watched her as she calmed herself. He had only ever felt one 'heartbeat' before, and that was hers. He was vaguely envious of her ability to feel others, in the sense that it gave her unity to them, where he was detached. They both had their strengths and weaknesses, of course, which balanced out. As she spoke into his mind, he rose up from his crouch to stand and strode over and through the ruins. There was only one question in his mind.

"Who isss it?"

Razielle smiled up at the night sky. She wouldn't tell him so but she loved it when he followed her about. She hopped off the pillar and turned to meet him as he walked, or rather lurched up to her.

"Two actually... Xanatos and Bowdin."

She was rather excited about tonight events. But at the same time she had to ponder why tonight of all nights she could separate the two from the now masses of Undead. Something in her told her that it wasn't good. Frowning, Razielle imparted the bad news.

"Something isn't right, with either of them. Its as if Bowdin dosen't exhist, at least not as he once did. Xanatos, his hearbeat is irregular and slow, as if he were on the brink of death."

Salem knew both names, but had never met either vampire. Bowdin, he understood, had been a great power, both at the Coven and The Sith Empire. Xanatos was somewhat more enigmatic to him, in that he appeared to have leaded many lives in a single lifetime. There were conflicting stories of him. Perhaps now that Razielle had found him, Salem would find out which of them was true.

"Peculiarrr. We sss-hould hurry, then."

If there was any place in the galaxy that Razielle didn't wish to ever set foot on again, since her embracement of Undeath, it was the one place Xanatos would pick to lay dying. Vampyre's and sun, for obviously reasons didn't mesh well. She hesitated to tell Salem their destination.

"Tatooine.. We have to get to Tatooine, fast."

As the minutes dragged on, X got harder and harder to focus on as if he as already fading from her sight. They would have to make haste to find him before he was gone altogther.

'Tatooine? A bit sunny for a vampyre, don't you think, sister dear?' Jezebella mused aloud, hopping up onto the pillar her sister had once inhabited. As a Ghoul, vampyric strengths were offered, without the common weaknesses also known to a vampyre. Sunlight, though not what she preferred, was nothing less then annoying to her. Crossing her arms over her chest, Jez bounded from the pillar and toward the two. Nodding slightly toward Salem, Jez grinned at her sister,'If you'd like, I can come along and help, though I know you two could handle it without me, just think of me as a conveniance.'

"If we need a sss-hield, we can use you," Salem replied, without a hint of humour in his voice. He looked to Razielle expectantly for a moment, before speaking his mind.

"I don't have a worrrking ship ... and you'll need to pilot."

"I'll take care of it, Salem, never fear.."

The amount of funding one could amass when one invested their already sizeable inherritence wisely was, to say the least, vast. If she wanted to Razielle could commision them all ships of their own, but that was far too showy and would attract far too much attention to the Cabal. But purchasing something for a quick jaunt to Tatooine shouldn't be too difficult.

"Jez, you are most welcome to come. I wasn't looking forward to piloting during the day.."

She was already on her feet wandering back to the stronghold. There was much to be done, if they were going to leave as quickly as they needed to.

Her amber gaze flickered to Salem for a moment, puzzling the rude comment, then brushed it off and began to walk after her sister. Scowling slightly, she crossed her arms over her chest and then recalled the perfect order of her own ship. Problem solved. Grinning somewhat, Jezebella caught up with Razielle, and tilted her head toward her.

'We can always take The Delinquent.'

"We will then," he replied, sounding ever so slightly irritated by the fact that they were all still stood here.
