Naj always had touble sleeping through Hyperspace. He'd traveled at lightspeed countless times, never a problem. Still, the chance of disaster was enough of an afterthought not to bug him, but still subconsciously keep him from sleeping very soundly.
The familiar lurch sent through the hull when the auto pilot brought the ship out of hyperspace was enough to fully awaken the Chiss Hybrid. Naj himself was sleeping in a cot right next to the main bridge. Daria was nowhere to be seen. More likely then most, she'd taken to wondering about, exploring the ship. Naj had taken the precaution of locking his lab and holding cells before he'd layed down. The lab was potentially dangerous to her, and the holding cells would have been a bit too much for her to deal with at this point.
Naj casually stepped on into the main bridge and paged Daria over the comm in her own native language, telling her that they were almost there.
A few minutes later, he was landing the ship at the Krath's landing pad.....

The Doz’rah arrived onto the bridge a minute or so after hearing the call, eagerly peering out of the view screen. It looked bleak outside, very bleak. As she stood looking, in silence, she could hear something. It was like a quiet murmur of a thousand voices, all speaking in unison. Closing her eyes, she shook her head and the feeling went away.
Right outside of the window she could see what looked like an old castle, or fortress of some kind. It was pretty impressive from inside the craft, and she imagined would be even more interesting up close. Hopefully that was where they were going. Turning, she looked to Naj expectantly.
“Hoam rlo bai.”

Naj smiled as he spoke, and led her out of the main bridge, down a small hallway that led to the exit ramp. There was slight breeze coming through, as the wind swept off the mountains and through the forest. On days like this, one could easily imagine seeing the trees actually moving, not as in swaying, but as in walking around, though it was simply an optical illusion. Although, looking closely enough, one could spot some unnatural movement coming from the Baffor seedlings....
Nearby was the Iron Citadel, where Naj would take Daria soon enough. For now though, his current path lead toward his tower, where they could find some rest for the night....

Daria followed, a little disappointed that they were not walking towards the bastion. Her frustration dissipated, however, as they walked on. There was that buzz of voices again, a hum in the back of her mind, yet she could not see anyone else. Was the Citadel populated by hundreds of people? Maybe that was why she was being taken to the isolated tower. It was logical, if that was the case.
“Leb dazi erlotx ato loto?” she asked, tugging her hood up a little as a the chill of the wind caught the back of her neck.

Naj walked deliberately slower than usual, so that Daria would have a chance to take in her surroundings a bit. He wasnt sure if she was as comfortable at night as she was during the day, or if she was more comfortable. Either way, he would give her a tour after he had some rest.

Nodding tentatively as she let her eyes roam freely around the landscape, Daria couldn’t help but wonder just what it was that was getting at her mind. If there were sparse few people here, then someone or something else had to be creating the disturbance.

If there was one thing that Naj would like to avoid, it was conflict. Earning Daria's trust was the main objective, and taking her somewhere just as hostile as she came wasnt a good way of doing this. As he leads her on by Inu, he turns and speaks to her quietly.

Daria watched the odd looking man-beast creature walk past, raising a thin eyebrow. She couldn’t understand a word he was saying, but got the sentiment behind it from the sharp edge to the things voice.
“Lo yx az emm heepyzc ezo,” she remarked with an impish smile.

There was a genuine sound of interest in her voice. If the trees were sentient, then ‘haps it was them that she had heard. The whispers had been so vague and incoherent that it was logical that they would have come from a being of low intelligence. With this in mind she discarded the thought that she had just seen one of the trees lean forward to get a look at her and turned back to Naj and his tower.

The watchtower rose high into the air, almost as high as the Iron Citadel itself. On the outside, it wasnt a very welcoming sight, and for the most part, the inside wasnt a very welcoming sight either. Naj has spent some time on it, however, and there were a few rooms that had been restored, mainly to serve a certain purpose, such as living space, or a lab. Naj had even taken the time to clean up the forge on the lowest level (which was underground), and assemble a kitchen. Other than that, countless rooms were left untouched, mainly just soldier's living quarters and armories.
"Rlyx yx di ebz ledo, yd yz rlo ktegoxx ej toxretyzc yr."
Naj gave her a quick introduction, as they bypassed the large iron gate at the front, and walked over to a smaller iron door around the side. Naj removed a key from his pocket and unlocked the door. The view when they stepped in was dark, and somewhat dreary, but not dirty, as one would expect from the exterior view. Being the perfectionist he is, Naj cleaned the hallways between each of the rooms he had restored, so that when walking through, things would be clean and orderly, unless you ventured into the corridors that Naj hadnt bothered with yet. Currently, almost all of the first floor had been restored and converted for whatever use Naj had, save for one or two rooms, and the stairwell leading up to the next floor...

Taking in the tower didn’t take more than a few seconds. It wasn’t lavish; Naj hadn’t surrounded himself in luxuries, as far as she could see, just what he needed. It was Spartan, but impressive none the less, especially if he’d managed it all alone.

Nodding, with a slight roll of her eyes, as Naj left the room Daria fell into a large chair with a deep exhalation of breath. The thought of communicating with her family momentarily reared its head before being pushed away. This was an interesting situation she’d gotten herself into, and there didn’t seem much harm in letting it play out for a while.
There was a big fur throw on the floor, which she tugged up onto the chair and drapped over the arm while she undressed before slipping comfortably snuggly beneath the fluffy blanket - actually looking forward to sleeping, mostly due to what would come the morning after.

Taking in the tower didn’t take more than a few seconds. It wasn’t lavish; Naj hadn’t surrounded himself in luxuries, as far as she could see, just what he needed. It was Spartan, but impressive none the less, especially if he’d managed it all alone.

With that, Naj stepped into his bedroom for a change of clothing. Exhaustion was tugging at him severely, and he was already imagining his head hitting his pillow...

Nodding, with a slight roll of her eyes, as Naj left the room Daria fell into a large chair with a deep exhalation of breath. The thought of communicating with her family momentarily reared its head before being pushed away. This was an interesting situation she’d gotten herself into, and there didn’t seem much harm in letting it play out for a while.
There was a big fur throw on the floor, which she tugged up onto the chair and drapped over the arm while she undressed before slipping comfortably snuggly beneath the fluffy blanket - actually looking forward to sleeping, mostly due to what would come the morning after.
