A small data pad lay in Salem’s hand, as he read the glowing lime text over and over, burning to memory the schedule for the group training session for the day. As always the class would take place at night, under the light of the high moon and a few sparse braziers and glow lamps. It wouldn’t be long before everyone arrived, though Salem was growing impatient and wanted to begin as soon as possible. He paced back and forth, eyes darting about in the shadows as he scanned for the Force presences of others.
Hurry. Yourrr training awaitsss.

He needed no prodding. This was what he had come here for. To learn the power of the dark side. The power that would give him freedom from ever being incarcerated again. At least, this was his belief.
He didn’t mind that the training was at night. He’d spent enough hours in a dark prison cell that his eyes adjusted easily to only the pale light of the moon that illuminated the path before him.
His hands were stuffed in his pockets and his jacket collar was pulled high about his features, as if he wished to fade from existence. In fact, he did not, but a low profile had been his path to success his entire life, and he was loathe to give it up.
He nodded in greeting, perhaps even a hint of respect to Salem as he arrived at the destination.

Cold was late and he knew this. But this training was a bit unexpected for Cold. It didn't matter. He hurried to the training Salem had set up for the group.
Cold's auburn hair was in his face, moving it away, he noticed that two people were there. He couldn't distinguish who they were because it was dark.
Getting closer, he saw Salem quite impatient. He looked at both of them and said:
"Guess I'm not the only one who's late."

Sebastian raised his chin slightly toward Cold, and recognition flickered in the depths of his eyes. It was his way of acknowledging Cold, whom he had met only a few days before.
He said little else, neither agreeing or disagreeing with the comment about tardiness. Time had a way of running its course, and in time, if the others were meant to be here, they would come.

Though taking the path of a Dark Jedi, Feliciana answered to Salemn's call and reported to the training session exactly on time. She approached the small group and bowed before rising to her height and making eye contact with Salemn.
"Greetings Master Salemn....I have come to learn though I walk a different path than those gathered here."
She spoke earnestly, hoping that he would still include her in the lessons of this eve.

He raised an eyebrow and gave Feliciana a quick onceover before turning away. A different path than the others gathered…? He wondered about this, though said nothing out loud about it. He didn’t care what the hell he was considered, so long as it taught him the skills he needed to know.
He shrunk back from the gathering the slightest bit, leaning back against a nearby tree and crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for the lesson to begin.

Silent as usual, Cold observed Feliciana arrive. He wasn't the only one who arrived late. They waited for the others. An awkward silence filled the air, but Cold looked up in the sky. It was dark, and it only reminded him of the skies of Coruscant.
He turned around as he heard Salem talk. Cold was interested in what they were going to learn and knew he was up to the challenge.
"Sounds interesting." He murmured

Feliciana smiled slightly and nodded toward Salemn. It was good to know she would be included as well, though she was a Dark Jedi. Her eyes shifted slightly to Sebastian who gave her a onceover. She couldn't help but shake her head and slightly roll her eyes as he backed away from the group.
"What's your problem?"
She questioned softly as she moved over to the newcomer...someone she had known did not come along with them when the main group parted from TSO. The young Dark Jedi leaned against the tree and sighed, eyeing him curiously.
"And why are you here?"

He hadn’t noticed as she’d rolled her eyes and shaken her head at him. He’d given her a quick onceover and turned away with the intention of distancing himself from the others.
But she wasn’t going to let it be that way.
What's your problem?
He heard her question from a closer distance.
And why are you here?
He looked up from where he’d been staring to eye her once again.
“Is this twenty questions?” He replied, answering her two questions with one of his own.
“Because if it is, you’ve only got eighteen left.” His words were not said with malice nor were they aggressive.
It was simply his nature to be perhaps a little distant, particularly around those he didn’t know. His arms remained crossed over his chest and he made no effort to act any more or less interested than he had originally been. This was in no means a slight upon Feliciana. It was simply Sebastian being who he was.

Deciding against waiting any longer before beginning, Salem pushed his datapad into his pocket and motioned for the others to listen.

His voice trailed away, but it was easy to replace the silence with anyone of a number of expletives.

The rebuke did not bother him and he remained as he had been - in silence. He was used to not speaking much anyway. The guards in prison hadn’t exactly been talkative and he’d learned that it was usually best to just keep his mouth shut. Silence was much wiser in most cases than any smart aleck remark that could come out of his mouth.

This reminded him of the flight over with Jeseth. He’d drawn his blaster at one point and fired on the winged man, only to see him absorb the blaster bolt in his hand. Now he would learn to do this as well. Or at least, the basics of this skill.
At this point, he stopped leaning against the tree and his arms dropped from where they had been crossed over his chest and he walked over towards the rest of the group in search of a partner.

Feliciana was just about to speak when suddenly Salem told she and Sebastian to be quiet. Sighing to herself, she listened as the Vampire gave instruction as to what they were going to be doing this day. Jeseth had only taught her a little bit in his time here, but she had learned much more at The Sith Order. Some of this would be easy for her now, with the experiences she had had. As the strange man walked away from her, she grinned to herself and held out her hands in front of her. With a bit of concentration, the young woman let the Force flow through her arms and then shoot out of her hands. The blow landed upon his back and shoved the man forward. He went stumbling and she was surprised he did not completely fall, though she knew she had not given the push her all.
"You were looking for a partner, no? Well, you found one."
She said with a faint smile upon her lips as she advanced toward the man. This lesson would be interesting indeed, for it struck her curiosity. Perhaps she would gain a friend in this new Order as well...or so she hoped.

Cold was amused by the conflict between Feliciana and Sebastian. He wouldn't side with anyone because he knew the conflict was very childish. He listened to Salem's words of advice and nodded. If this world had taught him anything, it was how to survive.
He observed Feliciana Force Push Sebastian and quircked a brow and smiled. Extending his arms, he let the Force flow out and push Feliciana enough to catch her attention. She stumbled a bit.
"Aw, I thought you were gonna be my partner." Cold said sarcastically.

He hadnt expected to be shoved - particularly from behind. He turned to see the source of it smiling faintly at him.
You were looking for a partner, no? Well, you found one.
He raised an eyebrow. She just couldnt leave him well enough alone.
And then, it seemed, karma had a way of making its way back. She stumbled a bit herself, and Cold, one of the members with whom Baz was familiar, identified himself.
His words were full of sarcasm, and Sebastian let a small smile of amusement show before it was covered with his usual disinterested expression.

Feliciana caught herself and growled under her breath, attemtping to control the rage inside of her heart. She glared at Cold and then over at Sebastian. Both of her hands went out to the sides and she called upon the Force. It coiled through her arms and suddenly shot out in great energy at her comrades. Both were knocked by the force of the blow and lost their footing greatly. She laughed to herself and shook her head.
"I need a partner who can at least stand up."
Another laugh escaped the Dark Jedi's lips as she eyed the two Sith men. It would be an interesting day indeed.

Sebastian picked himself up and stood there for a moment brushing the dirt off himself. He felt like he was back in fourth grade and he’d been shoved on the playground. Only now he was in his late twenties, and beyond such childish games. Or so he’d thought.

Had Salem not been mentally preoccupied, he would have flashed a victorious, fanged smile at Sebastian. The vampyre strode with his ‘partner’ out of reach of the others and raised one palm, aiming it straight at the Dark Jedi before him.
“When the Force push hits you, all you need to do is allow it to ssseep into you, just as pain would.”
This said, the Sith Knight sent out a small wave to test the water.

Sebastian stumbled back, not fighting the push this first time. He wanted to fully feel it, to know what it was like to be on the other end.
When Cold backed away, leaving him the opportunity, he gave him a hard shove in return. It was nothing filled with hatred, anger, or malice. It was simply a good, hard, solid shove for practice. One that was reflective of Baz’s personality. Quiet, but strong and determined. One that let you know he was there and not to be messed with.
He liked Cold. In fact, he’d had a rather interesting conversation with him only days before. This practice was nothing personal, and Baz was in control enough of his emotions to use them only to the extent that they were needed.

Feliciana nodded to Salem's words, recalling from several occasions how pain felt -- how she took it in and made herself more powerful from it. Soon after he gave her instruction, Salem sent a small Force push which the young woman stood against as if someone was pushing on her shoulders and she was pushing back on them. The feeling she got was not the same thought -- in fact, it nearly made her sick. The Force seeped into her indeed, but it seemed to slam her inner organs against one another and her rib cage. Fel's face contorted ever so slightly as she got used to the feeling and now knew what to expect.
"Like that, yes?"
She questioned as she regained partial homeostasis inside of her body. Shaking her head to relieve herself from the spinning feeling, Feliciana regained her composure and stood still, awaiting Salem's instruction.

Cold was pushed back by the shove that Sebastian had given him. He almost fell. Cold shook his head. Cold knew that this exercise would make him more adept with the Force.
Feeling as if he were to get Sebastian back, Cold Force pushed him much harder this time and smiled. It was a game. Nothing more. It was a game to see who would give up first for him.

He gave Cold a sort of co-conspirator look and then nodded in the direction of Salem and Fel.
"Think the two of us can take the two of them on...?" He suggested more than inquired of his practice partner.

He'd actually grinned rather than scowled at the shove to his back from Salem. There was clearly much that could be learned from him, and Baz would perhaps catch him at another time.
But for now, he regained his footing and gave Cold a bit of a force shove to wake him up.
"Tired out already?" He taunted lazily, his words meant only to wake Cold up fromt he stupor he seemed to be in.

He raised an eyebrow and gave Feliciana a quick onceover before turning away. A different path than the others gathered…? He wondered about this, though said nothing out loud about it. He didn’t care what the hell he was considered, so long as it taught him the skills he needed to know.
He shrunk back from the gathering the slightest bit, leaning back against a nearby tree and crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for the lesson to begin.

Silent as usual, Cold observed Feliciana arrive. He wasn't the only one who arrived late. They waited for the others. An awkward silence filled the air, but Cold looked up in the sky. It was dark, and it only reminded him of the skies of Coruscant.
He turned around as he heard Salem talk. Cold was interested in what they were going to learn and knew he was up to the challenge.
"Sounds interesting." He murmured

Feliciana smiled slightly and nodded toward Salemn. It was good to know she would be included as well, though she was a Dark Jedi. Her eyes shifted slightly to Sebastian who gave her a onceover. She couldn't help but shake her head and slightly roll her eyes as he backed away from the group.
"What's your problem?"
She questioned softly as she moved over to the newcomer...someone she had known did not come along with them when the main group parted from TSO. The young Dark Jedi leaned against the tree and sighed, eyeing him curiously.
"And why are you here?"

He hadn’t noticed as she’d rolled her eyes and shaken her head at him. He’d given her a quick onceover and turned away with the intention of distancing himself from the others.
But she wasn’t going to let it be that way.
What's your problem?
He heard her question from a closer distance.
And why are you here?
He looked up from where he’d been staring to eye her once again.
“Is this twenty questions?” He replied, answering her two questions with one of his own.
“Because if it is, you’ve only got eighteen left.” His words were not said with malice nor were they aggressive.
It was simply his nature to be perhaps a little distant, particularly around those he didn’t know. His arms remained crossed over his chest and he made no effort to act any more or less interested than he had originally been. This was in no means a slight upon Feliciana. It was simply Sebastian being who he was.

Deciding against waiting any longer before beginning, Salem pushed his datapad into his pocket and motioned for the others to listen.

His voice trailed away, but it was easy to replace the silence with anyone of a number of expletives.

The rebuke did not bother him and he remained as he had been - in silence. He was used to not speaking much anyway. The guards in prison hadn’t exactly been talkative and he’d learned that it was usually best to just keep his mouth shut. Silence was much wiser in most cases than any smart aleck remark that could come out of his mouth.

This reminded him of the flight over with Jeseth. He’d drawn his blaster at one point and fired on the winged man, only to see him absorb the blaster bolt in his hand. Now he would learn to do this as well. Or at least, the basics of this skill.
At this point, he stopped leaning against the tree and his arms dropped from where they had been crossed over his chest and he walked over towards the rest of the group in search of a partner.

Feliciana was just about to speak when suddenly Salem told she and Sebastian to be quiet. Sighing to herself, she listened as the Vampire gave instruction as to what they were going to be doing this day. Jeseth had only taught her a little bit in his time here, but she had learned much more at The Sith Order. Some of this would be easy for her now, with the experiences she had had. As the strange man walked away from her, she grinned to herself and held out her hands in front of her. With a bit of concentration, the young woman let the Force flow through her arms and then shoot out of her hands. The blow landed upon his back and shoved the man forward. He went stumbling and she was surprised he did not completely fall, though she knew she had not given the push her all.
"You were looking for a partner, no? Well, you found one."
She said with a faint smile upon her lips as she advanced toward the man. This lesson would be interesting indeed, for it struck her curiosity. Perhaps she would gain a friend in this new Order as well...or so she hoped.

Cold was amused by the conflict between Feliciana and Sebastian. He wouldn't side with anyone because he knew the conflict was very childish. He listened to Salem's words of advice and nodded. If this world had taught him anything, it was how to survive.
He observed Feliciana Force Push Sebastian and quircked a brow and smiled. Extending his arms, he let the Force flow out and push Feliciana enough to catch her attention. She stumbled a bit.
"Aw, I thought you were gonna be my partner." Cold said sarcastically.

He hadnt expected to be shoved - particularly from behind. He turned to see the source of it smiling faintly at him.
You were looking for a partner, no? Well, you found one.
He raised an eyebrow. She just couldnt leave him well enough alone.
And then, it seemed, karma had a way of making its way back. She stumbled a bit herself, and Cold, one of the members with whom Baz was familiar, identified himself.
His words were full of sarcasm, and Sebastian let a small smile of amusement show before it was covered with his usual disinterested expression.

Feliciana caught herself and growled under her breath, attemtping to control the rage inside of her heart. She glared at Cold and then over at Sebastian. Both of her hands went out to the sides and she called upon the Force. It coiled through her arms and suddenly shot out in great energy at her comrades. Both were knocked by the force of the blow and lost their footing greatly. She laughed to herself and shook her head.
"I need a partner who can at least stand up."
Another laugh escaped the Dark Jedi's lips as she eyed the two Sith men. It would be an interesting day indeed.

Sebastian picked himself up and stood there for a moment brushing the dirt off himself. He felt like he was back in fourth grade and he’d been shoved on the playground. Only now he was in his late twenties, and beyond such childish games. Or so he’d thought.

She stated flatly before eyeing Salem with a curious smile. A few paces forward led her to the one overseeing the training.

Had Salem not been mentally preoccupied, he would have flashed a victorious, fanged smile at Sebastian. The vampyre strode with his ‘partner’ out of reach of the others and raised one palm, aiming it straight at the Dark Jedi before him.
“When the Force push hits you, all you need to do is allow it to ssseep into you, just as pain would.”
This said, the Sith Knight sent out a small wave to test the water.

Sebastian stumbled back, not fighting the push this first time. He wanted to fully feel it, to know what it was like to be on the other end.
When Cold backed away, leaving him the opportunity, he gave him a hard shove in return. It was nothing filled with hatred, anger, or malice. It was simply a good, hard, solid shove for practice. One that was reflective of Baz’s personality. Quiet, but strong and determined. One that let you know he was there and not to be messed with.
He liked Cold. In fact, he’d had a rather interesting conversation with him only days before. This practice was nothing personal, and Baz was in control enough of his emotions to use them only to the extent that they were needed.

Feliciana nodded to Salem's words, recalling from several occasions how pain felt -- how she took it in and made herself more powerful from it. Soon after he gave her instruction, Salem sent a small Force push which the young woman stood against as if someone was pushing on her shoulders and she was pushing back on them. The feeling she got was not the same thought -- in fact, it nearly made her sick. The Force seeped into her indeed, but it seemed to slam her inner organs against one another and her rib cage. Fel's face contorted ever so slightly as she got used to the feeling and now knew what to expect.
"Like that, yes?"
She questioned as she regained partial homeostasis inside of her body. Shaking her head to relieve herself from the spinning feeling, Feliciana regained her composure and stood still, awaiting Salem's instruction.

Cold was pushed back by the shove that Sebastian had given him. He almost fell. Cold shook his head. Cold knew that this exercise would make him more adept with the Force.
Feeling as if he were to get Sebastian back, Cold Force pushed him much harder this time and smiled. It was a game. Nothing more. It was a game to see who would give up first for him.

He gave Cold a sort of co-conspirator look and then nodded in the direction of Salem and Fel.
"Think the two of us can take the two of them on...?" He suggested more than inquired of his practice partner.

He'd actually grinned rather than scowled at the shove to his back from Salem. There was clearly much that could be learned from him, and Baz would perhaps catch him at another time.
But for now, he regained his footing and gave Cold a bit of a force shove to wake him up.
"Tired out already?" He taunted lazily, his words meant only to wake Cold up fromt he stupor he seemed to be in.
