Cinnagar. What a worthless city! There is nothing notable about the place, save the dense forest at its eastern border. Inu is there, angry as usual. His training is going too slowly, Jeseth is being so damned engimatic over the Krath Inu knows basically nothing of it...he feels he's wasting his time. He's got his own ends to meet, and he's being put on hold for this <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont>? His katana slides from its sheath, seemingly of its own accord. It transforms, becoming longer, broader. It floats gently up, then bursts into a whirlwind of motion as the Jackel walks slowly forward. It cuts in random orbits around his body, destroying trees, taking the lives of any animal that gets in the blade's path. A deer drops dead, dissected into large chunks, squirrels are decapitated, and the plant life are cut down into so much worthless timber. He's full of questions, but can come up with no answers, and the only one of the "elders" that knows anything of value is Jeseth, and it seems he's never around when he's needed. He walks stoically on, the destruction never ceasing.

The coil of ruin in Inu’s wake was passing forward in thin airstreams, curling out and around tree’s and shaking their roots to the deepest. Ahead, the Jackel’s Master stood, his dark eyes peering from just above the top of a scarf around his throat and jaw. The Sith’s cloak flicked tightly around his body on the tail end of a rise in the wind. Without a word at first, he strode forwards, not concerned by the turmoil around.

Salem shrugged somewhat and fished into his robes for the saber Jeseth had given him. The hilt slipped into his palm with ease and shot a bright red beam out with a crisp hiss. With what looked like a faint form of bravado the vampyre whipped the saber up into a one-handed vertical salute before swiping it back down to a diagonally angled guard.

A guarded stance? It suits Inu fine. He's feeling the berserk tendencies his creator implanted within him. He'd rather attack than defend. He lunges and jumps, sweeping his sword upward in a powerful uppercut, furrowing the ground once more.

The counter that Salem presented was a simple downward hack. The saber beam met Inu’s blade, was bounced up partially, then continued back downwards to slam both beam tips against the ground.

Inu's eyes literally turn red, shining with an unholy light. He hauls backward on the blade thrusts it forward with the intent of impaling the vampire. By now he doesn't care about the outcome. If he kills the man, so be it.

Seeing the attack was too strong to deflect on a whim, Salem took instead to an easier escape. Bending his knees momentarily, he launched himself into the air over Inu to elude the attack, cloak acting as a temporary drag while he came down on his apprentice from behind, saber outstretched.

The Knight dropped from his jump to his knees, twisting his hands so that his palm was planted firmly against the base of the saber hilt. With a push, he shoved the beam upwards and it hide the oncoming slim edge of Inu’s blade before sliding up to become horizontal – creating a small display of sparks.

Inu glares at his master through the lock-up, his eye color shifting from their standard amber to the blood red of his berserk, altered self. His brow furrows as he makes a concious effort to forestall his berserk fury, shoving back Salem and sheathing his blade in defiance of his own instinct.
