View Full Version : Time for Roy Jones to hang it up?

Those who just watched the Johnson/Jones fight know what I'm talking about. For a fight that everyone just knew Roy would dominate, I'm still kind of in shock. I don't want to take away any credit from Johnson, because he clearly out boxed Jones in every way.

The old Roy is obviously dead. I guess once you make too many millions to count you just don't have the passion to fight anymore. I'd love to see him come back and redeem himself against Antonio Tarver, but with this recent concussion I'm afraid tonight will be the last time we'll ever see Jones again.

Oh well... here's to Trinidad's return.

Yep. Stick a fork in Jones. He's done. For a guy who was considered by everyone to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world to lose 2 back to back fights...at his age...it's over. Same for De la Hoya. He's got one big fight left and then he's done as well.

I think the only option for Jones right now is too drop some weight and schedule 1 or 2 big pay days. At his age he obviously can't hang with the Heavy or LHWeights.
