The new King Kong remake has a website, where you can peek at the production while it's being made. I haven't had a chance check it out ( my work computer doesn't have any sound, so viewing vid clips on it is pointless ) but it looks cool.

King Kong comes out Dec. 2005. So, we've got a wait, in case anyone's holding their breath. ;)

I am still not sure about it. King Kong has been done to death, IMO. I don't see the need for another remake.

The Jeff Bridges version was so horrific that I'm sure Jackson's version will seem like a masterpiece. Plus, it's sure to bring up interest in the original and probably a restored DVD (if one hasn't been done already). I think it's all good.

I just think it will have the same problems as the remake to Dracula. That had a great cast and all and a very good director. But it just doesn't meet the original. I guess I rather not have remakes of classics. There are so many bad films that they could just remake.

I don't know, it will be interesting, but nothing can compare to the original.
