.... and that takes a lot of doing.

He had a Ducati Monster 750. Not bad, would burn 50 meters of rubber but in the end not that fast as bikes go.

Then came the BMW K3 touring. As fast as the Monster, but more comfortable. But boring.

So, he got himself a Yamaha Fazer 600 that was wrecked and rebuilt that.

And then for some unknown reason, he went and got a Ducati Supersport 900. Yes, that thing was stinking quick. Yellow. One of the few things the Forester cant beat up.

Now, you would think that at 62, a Ducati Supersport would be sufficent, yes? Errrrr.... no. It's sold. And so is the Fazer.

For a birght yellow, with racing exhaust and carrier rack, touring handlebars and a few other go fast bits...... Ducati 996

A 996?????????

Aren't those about a hundred grand, and so far only about twenty have been built? And they put 1,200 to 1,500 degrees farenheit out the tailpipe when cruising?

You'll lose every time off the starting line, but it'll be a different story at the finish line. Exponential acceleration is :cool
