The MRS is designed to accompany fleets on missions that carry them well away from shipyards. The basic layout is an extremly large square platform with numerous repair and rearm slips on all sides of the hullr the hull. Many cranes and tractor beams assist in holding the ships in place while repairs are talking place. The massive station even has the capacity to refit Star Destroyer sized vessels. The stations weakness is its slow speed, worse-then-sluggish maneuverability; its large surface are is has relativly little protection from its defesive weapons and relies heavily on warships for protection.
