The Hokies are giving #1 USC all they can handle. It's 10-7 VaTech with just 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. The Hokies just got hosed on an interference call. It looked like the receiver pushed off hard on a big catch, but he barely touched the guy! It's a tight game and no matter what happens, the Hokies did themselves proud tonight.

The Hokies hung in there, but that call turned the game. 24-13, USC. Down the stretch Randal showed his inaccuracy and his inability to make a big play. Oh well, they made a game of it. :(

Much closer game than I expected. VaTech played well, considering what they were up against. Reggie Bush had a great game for USC (I'm kind of surprised he isn't be suggested as a dark horse for the Heisman. With Mike Williams gone, he's going to be their big play guy this season, and could put up some solid numbers).

The Men of Troy will be tough this year. They lost practically no one from last season and should be in the thick of the Title hunt all season.
