So, they manage to tell Jeremy Bloom that he still can't be part of collegiate athletics because his need to accept endorsement money to continue his ski training will be the apocalypse of amateurism, AND, they deny the final appeal of Mike Williams to return to USC after the courts decided he couldn't enter the NFL Draft.
Congrats to them. Once again, they manage to make their hypocracy shine through and prove that they are completely out of touch with the modern reality of sports. The whole organization needs to be flushed and rebuilt from the ground up.
As a final note, however, Jeremy Bloom wrote a great article (http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=educatingjeremy&prov=tsn&type=lgns) for SportingNews that outlines his experience well, and does an excellent job of giving the NCAA a verbal equivalent of the middle finger.
