Interesting read for sports junkies. :)

It's skewed. Places like New York and Chicago and Boston have at least 5 or 6 Pro-teams.

If I cared about pro sports, that might mean something.

They need to do a college poll instead.

Its only a few Championships but The Patriots are not a Boston team.....that one always irks me. If your going to call them a Boston team you could easily call them a Hartford team......grrrrr

Ew. They considered Baltimore part of Washington D.C.

Yeah I guess they looked at metro area for some of these teams. I think technically speaking Foxboro is the Boston metro area, at least according to this.

Foxboro is like 45mins to a hour south of Boston.....sorry to rant but this has annoyed me for a while. As a Vermonter the Patriots are the only Pro Team we have and probably the only one we ever will have and it really annoys me when people say the Pats are Boston's team or should move to Boston, etc....

Well...to be honest several of teams don't play in the actual city they represent. The Dallas Cowboys for example are in Irving, which is a suburb of Big D. Other teams have similar situations.

True, but they are called the Dallas Cowboys, these are the New England Patriots...a minor quibble I know :)

Baltimore is not a suburb of Washington D.C. Which was there first? 'Nuff said.

Well they consider it the Baltimore-Washington metro area, I don't agree with it but that is what they are looking at.
