*Natia opens her eyes to the darkness in her room. The light's off and the blinds are closed. Outside, life is going on as usual. From the feel of things, it's sunny today. Coruscant never sleeps. It's always busy busy busy. One has to take a step back to take a breather, but then hurry twice as fast to catch up. That's what her life feels like. It seemed like just yestarday that she joined the GJO, but it also feels like a lifetime ago.

After laying on her bed for an hour or so, she gets up, grabbing her boots, puts them on and then opens the door to her room, and stepping out. The Lost live here in a little area above Dexter's diner. Her home. She'd left a note for her Grandpa that she wanted to talk with him today. What she didn't say was that she wants to do some training. She's fully rested so should be good for a couple of hours unless it's a very intense physical workout. Then she's gonna have some problems*

They say a Jedi never has to cultivate strength and fitness. The belief a Jedi relied soley on The Force was a prevailing one - admittedly for many Jedi, that was true. For the ones that knew better....

The room was dark, for that was the way he preferred it. A meeting with a flashbomb had left him with an aversion to bright lights, so he tended to avoid full daylight when he could. Truth be told, it was why he preferred steel over the normal Jedi weapon. However, he now could see so well in the dark, it was almost cat like.

His boots were connected to the ceiling by clamps, he was upside down dressed in the aforementioned boots and a set of black cargo type pants and heavy leather belt. He had a set of weights in his hands, the click was the metal coming together as he bought the weights up. Only slightly above average height, his frame was however powerful, muscles clearly defined.

With his shirt off, the network of burns and scars could be seen, the testomy of a life of savagery and war. Each scar was a trophy of cheating death once more. Each burn was a stolen moment of life.

Marcus Telcontar, Ex-Jedi Master. One of the Galaxy's most powerful beings. Hidden upstairs of a humble diner. Unknown, unseen and just the way he liked it.

Marcus could hear the footsteps coming. The clamps came apart, he fell, doing a neat flip to land on his feet much softer than a regular human could.

"Come in" he said in the soft, odd accented voice that was truly his. "Leave the light off"

*Natia quietly enters the room that Marcus is is, leaving the light off as he had requested of her. If the truth be told, she likes the dark like this*

Hi Grandpa, how are you today??

*Natia questions softly as is her habit*

"Well enough. But you didn't come here to enquire of my health. You wished for somethign else to ask."

*Natia smiles before she goes on to speak*

I wanted to ask you if we could do some training today.

"As I expected" he said softly, a hint of amusement on his voice. "I had thought you might ask earlier, but no matter. The first step on the true path of learning is a longing to learn and a detirmination to never stop learning. Oh yes, that reminds me.... "

There's the sound of feet stepping away, a box opening, rummaging, a few words, then footsteps again coming closer.

"It's not much, but it will do you until you learn how to make one yourself. I made you a lightsabre"

*Natia smiles and nods her head slightly at what Marcus says. Then as Marcus says he made her a lightsaber, her eyes widen in surprise. This is one thing she never ever expected to get as a gift*

Thank-you Grandpa.

*Natia's not to sure on what else to say*

"Use it well when you have to. Remember, a Jedi only uses it as a last resort. Part of your training will be to learn how to make one for yourself, but that will be later."

Maybe not too much later, he thought.

"While a Jedi is formidible armed with a sabre, be aware that it's not the be all and end all. Never rely on it. Instead, rely on what is inside you, whom you are and what you can do. Combined with The Force, then you become a formidible foe, even if your not the physically strongest being". The weights he picked up again, clearly there was a good deal more on them than a normal human could cope with. They were put out of the way. "There is a remote trainer in this room. Find it and activate it"

*Natia decides to remain quiet on the matter of her making her own lightsaber. She's already done so, and did so a good while ago, before she even joined the Lost. Now to focus on the task at hand. Finding the remote trainer in the room and activating it. But first, some questions*

What type of remote trainer is it??

Marcus Telcontar

"Standard training type. Usual array of low powered blast needles for sabre training. Nothing more"

*Natia nods her head slightly and does a quick look with her eyes, knowing that she won't find it that way since it's dark in the room. She could always ignite her lightsaber and use that as light, but her Grandpa wanted the lights off. Well, she does want to learn so she takes a deep breath and reaches out with the Force to find this remote trainer. After a short while she does locate the remote trainer and uses the Force to activte it*

"Good. Now you know what the remote looks like with it's conenction to The Force, watch and beware to act when the time comes"

The remoe lifted and turned, sensing. It turned a bit more, puased, then fired at Natia.

*Natia is about to say something to Marcus when she senses through the Force, the shot from the remote. She steps off to the side to avoid being hit*

"Again. But this time with the sabre"

The remote came up and then fired three times very fast.
