looks like about 172 names registered between May and July 2002. Conversely, this year we've had over 200 names registered between May and July.

a lot of those names would have been alt IDs though, I'm guessing. Quay, in particular, has an ungodly amount of accounts.

yeah, I don't remember there being any huge boost. TPM, yes, but AOTC was kind of a dissapointment. We got all geared up for n00b invasion and it didn't happen, if I remember right.

oh, that. I've been increasingly worrying about Telan for the past maybe 2 weeks, so I guess that qualifies as a mini-storm that hasn't yet formed. Lately he's gone from eccentric to the makings of "Gue: Part II".

No, of course not. I'm referring to his behavior OOC when discussing such subjects. What scares me is, when I try and coordinate those sorts of RPs with him, he frequently becomes desperate (I suppose he feels trapped in a way), and later threatens to commit suicide if I suggest a way of doing things that doesn't fly with his plans. At least, I think his mentioning that is a result of suggestions I might make which don't fly with his plans - when someone threatens me with suicide, it tends to activate a whole host of alarms in my head. He then goes into extended detail about what sort of alcoholic beverages he's allegedly drinking, and the parts that make up his alleged pistol.

It's becoming increasingly difficult for me to work with him.

It's been my experience that this level of emotional investment and desperation has one conclusion, which is the RPer popping at one point, and doing something to get banned, as with Gue.

Ah yes, I can see your point. It's a shame there isn't an international hotline that one could report to when internet buddies start threatening suicide. >_<
