I'll try to be more faithful. This past year was hell -- between teaching high school, family illness, and buying a new home.. I'm beyond stress as of now.

So what's been keeping you busy?

Oh goodness.. Everything.

The past school year was very stressful. The work is tremendous, and they filled my classes with the kids who are struggling to pass.. so my time was even more taken up.

Then summer came and we bought our first home, so my summer has passed with yardwork, painting and decorating.. I don't even feel like I had a summer to relax! Then there were family illnesses.. My father-in-law had major neck surgery, my sister-in-law had a miscarriage and found a tumor on her ovary, my aunt had a stroke, a good friend of the family has an "unknown variant" in his blood that could be a weird mutating parasite...... blergh.

Hopefully this year will go smoother. I have advanced classes now, so the students will not need me as much as my regular kids... Plus the house is in semi-functional order.. so I might actually have some time to myself.
