I think the Bourne Supremacy will be #1 easily this weekend. One the Bourne Identity was the #1 DVD (rental wise) a few years ago, I think this could be one of those sequels that out does the original. And Well Catwoman look god awful.

I am thinking maybe 35 million for The Bourne Supremacy and 18 million for catwoman.

I think Bourne could make more 40 ish was what I was thinking.

Well, maybe youre right. Apparently there was this marketing campaign where a movie ticket for the sequel was included for every sold copy of the Jason Bourne DVD. Im unsure how much impact that will have though. Concidering the success of the first, I am sure it will open bigger than the original, but the question is how much?

The current marketing campaign (trailers and general media coverage) has been fairly low gear from what I can see. Its not as highly anticipated as for example I, Robot which had a much higher awareness level. This one seems to slip under the radar somewhat.

Lee Movies are morons This will make 35 at least. I think it could make low 40's, the DVD that was released last year was huge it was the most rented DVD of the year. SO I think it will do very well.

Heh I was on to something. Actually I looked in on the mojo forums before I went to bed and saw the crowd reports I changed it right then. It looks 50 for Bourne I knew it would be because the first one was such a huge hit on DVD that people went to see this one. Also it looks like we will have three weeks of 50 million openings because the Village looks like it will do that without a problem.

Yeah Dick Tracy beat it and that opened like 14 years ago that shows a lot about this piece of Junk. I am glad it crashed at burned, it will make Warner wake up (I think they already have though) about there comic films.
