"Hensara Fleet" status

Though the page itself hasn't been updated in years, I am assuming that this fleet - which consists of 51 URSF leftovers and 45 NR support vessels - is still available. However, I feel that many of these ships are grossly obsolete (i.e. ISDs, VSDs). They need upgrades or replacements whenever possible. Now, I thought I should ask permission within the High Command for an undertaking of this size, before moving this on over to the Shipyards.

Now, the URSF existed way back when, and the 51 URSF ships have been named and RPed out for quite some time, as well as having been constructed according to the shipyard rules of the time, save for the Sabretooth, which is more of a sentimental RP tool than a ship to me. Many of these ships I can part with, and I will allow them to be dispersed among the entire fleet as needed. The 45 NR support vessels were built much more recently and are unnamed, therefore I have little personal attachment to them at all so if you want them for scrap metal, escorts, reserves, I'll gladly hand them over to the commander who needs them.

Basically, my point for asking all of this is I'd like to know if anything is needed. I'd especially like to hear from all of you shipyard junkies. Think of the order you could fill out with the harvested shells from 18 old Imperial I Star Destroyers (and they're already named for you as a plus LOL).

With the current fleet system Im not sure a bulk fleet of that size would go over well.. I have no problem with it since when we do fleet rping we work out which ships we will be using for just that battle. Only reason I and Tie are keeping up with our groups is so no one thinks we are pulled a ship out of our hats.

Having an SSD around would be nice but I doubt you get to use it in a battle. But it would make a good command ship. Telan has An ssd he uses and I have plans to build Lion A Viscout to act as his command ship. But you are correct everything chort of the Imperator MK III are outdated. A majestic can outfight an IMP MK I and its considered an escort.

I dont think anyone should have a problem. This is the NR and we are supposed to have thousands of ships. plus we do deployment per Rp now so how many you have and how many you use in an rp will never be the same.

But Im a lowly Admiral. Lion will have to ok it.

Oh I've never used more than a small taskforce out of all of those ships. Originally the URSF was divided into 7 or 8 different groups. These are all just the jumbled leftovers. There's having a strong fleet in battle and then there's just overkill.

What I mean to do with most of these is simply hand them over to you to do with as you please. They've been RPed out, named, and have been around for years. You can downsize the numbers, stick them in reserves, upgrade them, scrap them, put them in some type of Outer Rim patrol group. Do whatever you wish.

All I want to keep for myself would be the SSD Sabretooth. That's barely a fleet unit to me, and has been around for ages before these ships got pulled together. It got its cameo in Marcus' Dark Fury epic more than once, and I like to have it around for special operations with NRSF and other shady doings. Just to have a foothold no matter what happens to Scorpion and his allegiances.

Well, Scorp here has a rep as a very good fleeter, so I presonally think what he wants will be okay. The point being, he's fair.

Im cool with the whole fleet. I just dont want the Guys at the Sov freaking out when they find out we have An SSD. Well ... Wait... Mabey that would be fun. :lol

I do think he could stand to Upgrade to a few newer ships though. As for what he has now its up to Lion as to what to do with them.

He is a General and I figure he can pretty much do as he wants.

This is sort of a rough draft of what will happen to the ships in the fleet. Ideas are under construction, and any suggestions for the "pending" vessels would be greatly appreciated, even if you just want to transfer a few of them to your own fleet. :)
