Rotten Tomatoes is 9/10 reliable given the vast number of reviews taken into account.

Edit: Secondly, let's keep the he-said she-said debate out of this please, it's petty and pointless.

Edit 2: As for Spiderman 2, I think I'll be going to see it when I can, I enjoyed the last one for what it was and my expectations were exceeded. The second film looks like it's anything but pushing the envelope but it's going to be more of the same which will be fun.

Btw, shouldn't this be in the BO forum?
