Unusual hunger (open)

[Shade Magus]

Shade walked into the bar and handed over his lightsaber as he quickly walked over to a booth. He looked around as he waited for a servor droid. For some odd reason he was starving, and nothing he did or any ofthe snacks he had was able to satisfy him. Prehaps a good cooked meal would do the trick.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Kick

"Ugh, don't do that, Aramis." A pregnant Quay spoke softly as she entered the B&G, wanting some food...she was hungry.

She smiled at the guards as she handed over her two lightsabre's--not that she could really do much good with them, but she knew if she had to protect her son, she would do just about anything.

With a smile on her face and a bulge in her belly, she walked on in and looked around. It was about that time she saw Shade and was about to wave...

Kick

"Aramis, I'm going to pee down my leg if you do that again, but before you even have a chance, we'll take care of it." She headed straight to the restrooms and came out shortly.

Kick

"Oh, now your playing with your mama." She smiled and rubbed her stomach as she walked over to Shade.

"Master Shade, what a pleasant surprise." Quay said with a bow and smile. As she resumed her stance, she continued. "It's been a while."

[Shade Magus]

"Quay! How pleasant to see you. Please have a seat. How have you been?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I've been really good, thanks." She smiled and took a seat across from her.

"This little one has been very fiesty today." She said as she put a hand on her stomach.

[Shade Magus]

Shade smiled at her. "So how has he been doing," he said, indicating her stomach.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Really good. The artificial womb is doing wihat its supposed to do, I've not had any problems. I think, he's testing out the strength of his new surroundings." She laughed, but in all reality, she was quite pleased with the way things were finally turning out.

Good, for once.

"So, how are you doing?"

[Shade Magus]

"Ohhh me...I'm doing fine as far as I can imagine. Had a bit of bad luck there for awhile, but it seems to have worked out."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"That's very good to hear, Shade. Things seem to be going in a good direction for both of us then." She told him with a grin as a server droid came over.

"I'll have a bantha steak, rare and a baked potato with butter." She shook her head. "I can't believe I'm craving meat so much, I never ate meat until I was pregnant."

[Shade Magus]

"Yes, well it isn't exactly what I'm looking for, but then I can't pin down what I want."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, take your time, I'm in no rush."

[Shade Magus]

"I wish I wasn't, but I'm just so hungry. Have any suggestions?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, there's chicken pot pie, which is pretty good or the baked spaghetti and meatballs or bantha meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy."

[Shade Magus]

"Hmm.....it all sounds so good...," he said. He turned to the droid with a smile. "Give me one of each!"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay laughed. "Well, I'm glad to have helped out on your hunger perdicament. That's a lot of food."

[Shade Magus]

Shade looked confused for a moment and then shook his head. He kept forgetting others usually didn't share his species large apetite. "Naw...I think it was just right."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, I do have some good news, I'm thinking of returning to the Order again." She told him.

[Shade Magus]

"Ohh...what brought around this?" He asked curiously.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, things just aren't working out like I thought they would. My sisters business went bust before it even started and my other sister is pregnant, only about a month behind me. Besides, I really miss the Order and all my friends there."

[Shade Magus]

"I see. Yes, I met your sister and she wanted me to give you a message but t seems you already got it. Well I hope things work out for you."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Yeah, I saw her a while back. She's a good girl." Quay sipped her milk. "I think, if I'm accepted back into the Order, things will be alright once again."

[Shade Magus]

"I truely hope so. It will be good to have you back."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Thanks, it'll be good to be back. I've missed everyone dearly." She admitted with a slight smile.

"So, is there anything going on over there?"

[Shade Magus]

"Well, nothing to exciting. Life goes on as it pretty much has. On the brighter note, Jacali's sister just had a baby."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I didn't realize Jacali had a sister. But, that's awesome. How has Jacali been? We've not really talked since I left."

[Shade Magus]

"Oh she is doing fine. I know her and I have become realy close freinds since you left."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"That's great to hear, Shade. Jacali is a very sweet girl and I've always liked her, it'll be good to see her again."

[Shade Magus]

"I'm sure she'll feel the same way Quay. So tell me when you plan on coming back?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Very soon, I hope." She smiled as she took a drink of her water.

"I can't believe how I've missed it. When I left, I thought I was doing the Order a favor. I didn't believe I was Jedi material anymore."

[Shade Magus]

"Aww...you should never of had that train of thought."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay smiled meekly, "I did. But, not anymore. This little guy deserves more than that."

[Shade Magus]

"Well I'm glad to see that you are getting your life in order Quay. And I'm sure that little guy will have the best upbringing with you as his mother."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay felt herself blush, she wasn't used to compliments as she smiled. "Thanks, Shade. I plan on doing my best."

[Shade Magus]

"I know you will. And you'll have the help of everyone here."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"If I get back into the Order, I don't even know if they will accept me again. I may have really blown it this time."

[Shade Magus]

"Look, wether you come back or not, you'll still have the help of your freinds."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay nodded and smiled. "Thanks, Shade that gives me a lot of encouragement and that is just something that I need. Maybe I should just go on a trip for a while. Just to let some of this blow over."

[Shade Magus]

"Prehaps rest would do you some good, but remember not to be goe for too long."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay'Na smiled slightly. "I know, and I'll leave a comm number for the council to reach me, if and when they decide to take me back. I left abruptly and I fear the worst."

She took another drink. "I just want so much for my child and if I can't get back into the Order..."

[Shade Magus]

"Don't worry...even if you cannot come back to the Order, things will work out. The Force does work in mysterious ways."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I know, my family is behind me too. They can't wait for this baby to arrive." She smiled as she placed at gentle hand on her belly.

[Shade Magus]

"None of us can wait," Shade was saying as their food finally came to the table. He nodded his thanks to the server.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay smiled as the steak was set in front of her. "Thanks," she nodded and then dug in hungerily.

[Shade Magus]

Shade chukled as he took some of his drink. "Hungry are we?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

Quay finished chewing and swallowing and then answered. "Very, but then, I'm always hungry."

[Shade Magus]

Shade smiled. "I see. Well, I hpe ther meal is good."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Just as long as it's food in general, I'm happy, Aramis is happy..."

Kick Quay'Na gasped slightly.

[Shade Magus]

"Well I can tell," he said as he heard and felt the jolt from the child in his freind's womb.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

The Padawan blew out a breath. "Whew! I think, I may have an athlete in here. He's pretty strong and it almost seems like he knows what I'm thinking and when I'm thinking it. It's a strange thing."

[Shade Magus]

"Well the bond betwen mother and child is unusually strong from what I have been told."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I hope we remain that way after he's born." Quay answered as she took another bite. "This is really good."

[Shade Magus]

"I think your real test will be when he starts to think he knows everything," Shade said with a slight chuckle.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Yes, those days will be coming before I want them too, I'm sure. Have you ever thought about having children, Shade?"

[Shade Magus]

He choked for a moment before trying to get his food down. "That was a question he had definitely not been expecting, but how he should answer it was more important. Yes he had thought about it and yes he could even see himself having and raising a familiy. "Well...sure I mean hasn't everyone? I mean...well yes I have thought about it and could see myself doing it, but I just guess I never thought about with who."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, that will come with time. Though, I'm glad to be having a child, I really wanted when I would do it to be my own decision, but I guess it's not going to be that way."

[Shade Magus]

"Prehaps not, but no matter the cause, I am sure you will be happy with the ending."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Oh, most definitely. Even though, I despise the father, I would never hold that against my son. I will teach him in a loving way."

[Shade Magus]

"That is good of you," Shade said taking a bite of his food.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I don't think there is anything I wouldn't do for him and he's not even here yet. For so many years, I was told I'd never have children, but look at me...I'm going to be a mom."

[Shade Magus]

"Yes well the Force does work in mysterious ways. Tell me...what are your immedeate plans? I know you plan on coming back here from what you have told me, but what do you plan on doing once you come back? Are you going to start your trining back up or wait until after your child is born?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I'm not sure exactly, I'd like to start training again, I believe."

[Shade Magus]

"I see. Have you spoken to anyone here about it?"

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I believe, it's being mentioned in the council. It's hard to tell." Quay replied as she took another bite. Boy, she was starving.

[Shade Magus]

"I see. Well I hope all goes well." Shade took another bite of his food, and added some more pepper afterwards.

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Though, I'll be sure and look you up if I get accepted." She smiled.

[Shade Magus]

"There is no need to try and look me up. I'm always around," he said with a smile. "Though I will not be hear for a month or two."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Oh, the days of getting away, those are always nice. I've been away for too long, I need to get back into the pace of things."

[Shade Magus]

"Yes getting away and having fun is nice, however this time I'll be going to the new Yavin Academy with Jacali, Jame, and Sarr for training."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"Well, that sounds like fun. I won't be going anywhere for a while." She smiled. "But, I need the relaxation for a bit."

[Shade Magus]

Yes you should rest and relax. I hear that raising a child could prove to be the hardest test of patience and energy yet."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"I can certainly believe that, Shade. This little guy is going to be a handful, I can tell already...but, I can't wait." She smiled and took a another bite.

[Shade Magus]

"Good," he said as he looked up at a time projector and frowned.

"I'm sorry Quay, but I'm afraid I have to be going. I have to get a few things ready before we leave for Yavin."

[Quay'Na Rakai]

"That's quite alright, you have a safe trip and I'm sure I'll see you when you get back!" She told him with a smile.

[Shade Magus]

Shade smiled. "I hope so."

He stood up and waved before turning around and leaving.
