Is everybody like me? And hope this thing bombs big time. It looks horrible I have to take back my comments on Garfield compared to this Garfield looks like an Oscar contender. Man this should sweep the razzies it looks that bad. Also there was one review that I thought was hilarious about it.
Most movies require some suspension of disbelief," Dave Kehr remarks at the start of his review in the New York Times, but in the case of White Chicks,"a full frontal lobotomy" might be in order. I just found that to be hilarious. Probably funnier than anything in this piece of crap.

I refuse to go see this rubbish, and think anyone who does see it willingly should be hurt. Bad.

LOL I know, I think there must be some really stupid people who could sit through this. I mean come on, in the trailer they wearing fake masks and they have black hands and hairy legs do anybody in the movie think these guys are white Women? And if they do man talk about suspension of belief I agree with that guy you need to be lobotimized in order to believe it.

I am just waiting to see the sequel to it.

"Negroes", where a pair of Good ol' Boys, hiding from the IRS and evading the Revenuers, take to blackface disguises and assume the identity of a humble sharecropper and a spunky shoe-shiner in a heartwarming comedy Tour de Force

I change the channel just when I see the TV spot. What a piece of garbage. They look SO creepy in those masks it's a wonder the movie got this far in the first place. :x

That's my point.

This movie is essentially going to take a steaming dump on any claims that Hollywood is somehow above the kind of jaw-dropping racism that was seen in Birth of a Nation, almost 90 years ago.

Oh wait, its okay because its black people in "whiteface". Ok.

This movie is totally gonna suck... I haven't even had the patience to sit through one tv spot for it - it just seems so dumb...

I'm not quite sure what's worse, the typical bimbo dumb blonde or people impersonating typical bimbo dumb blondes. In truth, nothing at all surprises me coming out of Hollywood and I think I would have been more surprised had I heard that this movie was in the works and then got scrapped on the grounds that it actually broke the lower barrier for intelligence. It's just another gimick(sp?) that Hollywood has come up with to try and make a buck. Granted, I never expect much in terms of true movie quality from the Wayans crew, but I think, in the words of old British military reviews: This movie has hit rock bottom and started to dig.

I agree with Charley. I felt the same way about "Soul Plane" the premise being the first ALL BLACK airline's first flight goes awry when a white family accidentally get's on board.

If someone made a movie about an ALL WHITE airline. . .

*shudder* I can't believe this tripe is being made.

Wait a minute here, I don't see any media uproar!

White kid has to pretend to be black.

Yeah he pretened to be black to get into Harvard I remember that movie. It wasn't a great movie either. Of course this movie looks way worse. Heck the masks don't even look real. If somebody walked down the street looking like that I ask them where is the costume party :p

When did this movie come out? Never heard of it.

The Wayans look like buff Michael Jacksons in their poor costumes.

Ah, Thomas Howell, where have you gone? :rolleyes I remember when Soul Man came out. James Earl Jones played his professor. It wasn't all that bad. It was simplistic, but I wouldn't put it in the same category of crap that I would WC. That just looks wretched.

Yeah this film looks horrid. Worst film of the year, IMO.

If not, I'd hate to see what movie would bump this one out for such a dubious honor.

I saw White Chicks with a few buddies of mind. The concept was ridiculous, but it did make me laugh quite a bit...

*chooses to ignore last post*
The sad thing is, you just know that a lot of people are going to see this. I dunno if you fall into this category, Sarr, but I know that all the wannabe black guys (note- not meant as a racial insult, but more those <smallfont color=#FF0000>-Censored-</smallfont> rich white kids acting like rappers) who go to my school will be lining up to see this, and that we'll have to live with the stupid piece-o-steaming dog crap for a while =\

EDIT- dumba s s is censored?!?!

What does it mean when a thread has this icon in the thread listing ?
Answer: This is for the benefit of both the members and the staff, so that they can all easily identify and try to avoid having a thread closed. That’s right, the icon is an indicator that a particular thread may be heading in an unfavorable or undesired direction, and is approaching being closed due to its content. This "warning" is meant to serve as a “lighten up so this topic can remain open” indication, and will also make it easier for staff members who may not have noticed the thread earlier to quickly know that it’s a touchy subject that bears a close eye being kept on it.

There is no swearing permitted in the SWFans.Net general and roleplaying forums. This rule is evident in the SWFans.net Swear Filter.
