Finally, I can see the true light. I got the results back from my bloodwork today....ALL CLEAR!!!!!

For those of you who don't know what this means, it means...I once again have my life back!!! For about two weeks, the word 'Lymphoma' was planted as a possibility of why I've been so sick. (cancer)

My family and friends and myself have been worried sick. A scare like that really gives one something to think about. I was thinking of things like if I was going to see my kids 10th b-day or if I was going to see them graduate and about that time, I decided to start RP-ing again, to get my mind off those terrible thoughts. I know many of my friends are quite a bit younger than I am and don't have kids yet, but this was a whole new realm for me and now it's passed.

I'm sooo relieved and so happy. I've been given another chance and tho by now you guys probably think I'm just babbling along...

I'm glad to be back and now all I have to do is get passed this whatever it is (coughing crap) and be well again...but I'm off to a darn good start now!!!! :crack :) :) :)

I know what it's like to get an "all clear" on cancer tests. Good for you.

See if there are any Bowen therapists in your area. They should be able to help you with that cough. I think, anyways. My mom is a Bowen therapist, and she's gotten rid of peoples' migraines and all kinds of other ailments.

yay for no cancer:)

Count yourself lucky. I know what it's like to not get an all clear on a lymphoma test. :) Glad you don't have to go through any of that.

Have your doctor test you for whooping cough. It's going around. I got it from Michigan.

I am not joking.

Also - great news about the clear test. :)

Wait, if it was whooping cough, your kids should have gotten it too. Hmm.

Had my own cancer scare once so I understand how you felt. Congrats on the results! Hope your coughing clears up, though. Being under the weather sucks.

I was beginning to worry about you Quay. So glad to hear that its not cancer. And glad to see you out of that stat of worring. Has your cough not changed at all? Is it still the same as it has been for the past 5 weeks?

Well, so much for being on the up and up. I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster at this time...

Some of you, I've already talked too...but here's the news...

I went back to the lung specialist last Thursday, I'm sitting there and he walks in and puts my file on the desk.

He looks at me and as he's opening up the file, he says that the CT scan specialists were in quite an uproar when they saw my scan. He proceeds to tell me they believe that I have Lymphoma.

I was crushed...to say the least.

He said all the tests for Histoplasmosis came back neg. So, now my next step is to have one of my lymph nodes in my lungs to be taken out and examined. Which I go to the specialist this Wed to see when I can have that done. Probably the week after if at all possible. The docs are being pretty good about getting this done, because I told them I have school in Aug, so it's like a rush order.

I'm not looking forward to having this procedure done, because I know it's gonna hurt like heck after I wake up. :cry

If I do have this, it's localized in my lungs so hopefully, it won't be hard to take care of. I hope...

Still coughing, still feverish, still tired and my lungs hurt to breath.

So, I thought I'd just give you an update on what is going on, but I am going to keep posting to keep my mind on the good things in life and I love to RP.

The girls are gone this week, so there really isn't much else to do and I already sleep alot...

So, that's the news, I'll keep ya posted...

>_<

And here I was going to post to congratulate you on getting good news from the doc. :(

Well, if it's any consolation, you'll be in my prayers that all goes well with the procedure, that you don't feel much pain if at all, and that whatever is the prognosis that it's minor and can be fixed quickly. :)
