For clarification, Sol here has my thumbs up. He's not Wondo/Lady Cath/whoever else Sith Lord Homer has decided to try and infest us with, so don't worry.
He's never done this kind of RPing before, so I'd greatly appreciate if ya'll could help him out and show him the ropes, explain the current situation concerning the NR and the Empire, etc etc.
And Sol, whatever they tell you about me is NOT true.

My Charater is an X-ISB agent who is now in the navy
Stuka “Shadow” Solidis:
Solidis history is consumed in darkness, lies and death. Little is known about his parents. His father was an ISB agent under Grand Moff Tarkin’s staff at their home plant of Eriadu. Solidis’s father, Kassion Solidisen, was a dear friend of Tarkin. Tarkin had taken a likening to him after Kassion, who was ranked an ISB Major at the time, had reviled a large plot to kill the Grand Moff. Ever since then Tarkin had made sure that where ever he went, Kassion fallowed in his staff.
The date of when Stuka Solidisen was born is unknown, wiped away by the ISB. After graduating from the academy, he followed in his father’s footsteps. He rose quickly in rank to ISB Commander in less half a year.
Soon after Kassion had stopped yet another rebel assignation attempt on Takin’s life, the rebels retaliated and attacked Kassion’s son, Stuka. Stuka sustained near fatal wounds. After that Tarkin had went to great lengths to assigned a bodyguard to Stuka, agents Stuka’s thoughts. TX-0279 was assigned to Stuka, and was always by his side.
About then was when Stuka’s fascination with Tie Fighters began to grow. He flew combat simulations every week. Once again the family’s old friend Grand Moff Tarkin used his power and gave Stuka his own Tie, and was assigned the 13th craft in Blackmoon squadron.
A year later Kassion Solidisen died. How is unknown, all that is shown in the records is that the young Solidisen deserted the ISB for 3 months. What happened in those 3 months is unknown. Upon his return to service he was promoted to ISB Colonel and placed in Tarkin’s staff. Taking the place of his father.
After the destruction of the First Death Star, he erased most of his past and joined the Imperial Navy. Stationed aboard the Executor along with the best he served a 2-sided life. During regular hours he was Solidis a Naval Sub-Lt. in a Tie Interceptor Squadron. During the time when his squadron members were sleeping of having R&R, he was Solidisen a ISB Colonel.
His squadron was thought to be obliterated during the Battle of Endor, but he escaped. He rejoined the Imperial Navy and serves the Empire under a cloak of darkness.

Only one thing - we rp about 30 odd years post Endor, so you may want to change that history slightly. Other then that its good.
Oh and we currently use TIE Defender III's.

The Empire lies scattered throughout the galaxy, a shadow of its former self. In its place have grown empire in and of themselves which embody the best - and worst - of Imperial Tradition.
Existing at the top of a long list of remnants are four primary groups. The remainder are smaller, petty warlords who own no more than a sector. Their power waners and their numbers are great - together theycould conquer the galaxy. But disparate they remain.
There exists at the periperhy of known space the Imperial Federacy, a fragmented isolationist cell concentrating its every effort on technology. Their realm is small but fierce. Their leader is a former Vice Diktat of the Empire who embodies ruthlessness and duplicity.
Next comes the Balmorran Empire, a region once though to be the next rising star of hope. However, internicine strife has allowed it to collapse in on itself. It is a potent threat, but for now, it is not one we worry about.
Next is the largest heir to the glory of olde - the Empire. Known externallyu as the Imperial Sovereignty, no one inside sneers at the title of Empire. having absorbed into it the Imperial Remnant, the Sovereignty bases its strength on tactics and honour. Their search for glory aided by pagentry and grandeur have brought it to the forefront of galatic events. Their holdings range from its capital of Thyferra to the cloud world of Bespin to carida at the Core border and Eriadu in the Rim. Also is the former Remnant territory, now the Braxant Sector, itself now a fortress between the Rim and the Unknowns.

the IDF Senate is the Imperial Dark Fleet's Senate. My gameing fraction, has nothing to do with SW-fans. Its a gaming fraction. Its has an imperial senate and i am offering the GA a seat on it, there for declaring the Sov. an ally.
Need i go on?

Well, as far as 'alliances' between boards go, to my knowledge Fans is pretty isolated when it comes to that. Largely for the fact that it's its own unique version of the whole Star Wars galaxy, and wouldn't mesh with another different interpretation, persay.
Matt, James, or any other admin please correct me if I'm wrong.

We are an isolationist board in that events rped here do not affect those that take place elsewhere. Where in your universe you are more than welcome to delcare that you have made contact with a mighty Empire who wishes nothing but cooperation in a conquest of the galaxy, you may not here make any allusion that there exist extra galactic reinforcements. Any action taken there maynot affect actions here - though actions here may affect actions there.
It may sound arrogant and selfish, but we have been doing things this way too long to scrap the old system.
I accept of course and you may email as you wish. I would decline a seat on the senate for I am no politican, IRl or IC. However, I am a militarist and imperialist through and through as here in text as in the flesh.

What about:
A pilot who was recruited by ISB as an informant. You kept an eye on your fellow pilots- perhaps you uncovered a rebel sympathiser.

I Like it sir... How about i was an ISB Lt. who was then sent in be some high command members to Oversee navy pilots. So they put me as flight leader. I was part of some other Imperial Force but it was defeated. I started to love being a fighter pilot and became a good 1 so i goined you guys. So my chareter becomes a great pilot, and has Intell background. Hows it sound?
the base is set... how do we write the little stuff?

It's more ISB to co-op someone than to plant them because it is more effective. People don't talk frankly in front of newbies but they will talk freely in front of someone they know and trust. Perhaps Tear or Esalis can set up the recruitment part. This is their field afterall.

Why not start a thread to establish your character as a pilot- say blasting pirates or something- then when Tear and/or Esalis are avaliable they can step in and recruit you to the ISB.

Tiberius Anar
Jun 29th, 2004, 03:12:26 PM
Imperial Security Bureau. It's part of the Inquistorate and is mainly counter espionage work. It keeps tabs on commanders, governors, politicians and reports them for doing unimperial things. Before you get any ideas they answer to Esalis, and Esalis answers to me.
Tear

The Inquistorate and the Navy are the largest with 4 people each. Next is the Army with 2. And lastly the Politicians with 1 person. Although this seems like not a lot, most of us RP multiple characters. With this factor taken into consideration the Navy is the largest.
I just need a pawn thats all. My current one is MIA.

Solisden, I suspect that as a member of the Fighter Corps any jobs you get from the ISB will be involved with the Navy.
And, Travis, we did have a second politician for a while- Torin T'Cloon but he disappeared.
