How did my IP appear twice?

Just looking at whos online, I noticed this:

So how did my IP manage that? Is that normal?

This happens when, for example, you are using the sw-fans.net address, but someone embeds an image in a thread using the swforums.net address. If you're logged into another account on that address, it will look like both accounts are viewing the thread at the same time, even if you are only currently surfing as one. If that makes sense.
