It had been a few days since Yulis was accepted into the jedi order and he was still as happy as on the first day. He couldn't believe that he was going to become a jedi. The others had told him that a master might not take him until later one because there were so many initiates and so few masters and knights. Having lived so long on his own, Yulis was ok with planning his actions by himself.

Yulis was tired of waiting around and wanted to start learning things by himself. He knew it would be harder without a teacher, but nothing came easy. After months by himself, Yulis had realized that if you want something really bad, you had to reach out and get it. Well he wanted to a jedi so he would have to reach out and start learning by himself.

The first thing to be done was research. Yulis needed some guidance before he could start and he needed to know what the Jedi could do. On the Temple map he located the archives and took a turbolift there. When he emerged from the lift, the sight in front of him made his jaw drop. The archives were huge. Beyond anything he could have imagined. Booked lined shelved that stretched farther then the eye could see. The cieling was so high that Yulis had to imagine that it was over 40 meters tall.

Computer terminals lined one of the walls and that is where Yulis went. Along the way he stopped by at a help desk and requested a few data cards. Upon recieving them and saying thank you with a smile, he proceeded to an open computer. Yulis sat down and quickly accessed the system. He called up all the information about the jedi and downloaded it into one of the data cards. Once that was complete he searched the system for a training manuel and to his surprise, one popped up. It listed all the force powers and a little about how to learn to use them.

He downloaded this whole manuel into the other card and searched for more things. As he searched, he located files on dark jedi's and warning about the dark side of the force. He saved these as well. When he was finished, he picked up his cards and turned off the terminal. With cards in hand he went back to his assigned room and dropped into the bed. Yulis pulled out his data cards and plugged them into a reader unit. All night long he sat and read everything that he downloaded. He concluded that his first training section would be all about learning to sense the force and sense other people through it. To do thing, though, he would first need to tap into the force and the manuel gave him a good clue on how he would do that.

New faces were always easy for Padawan Jacali Danner to notice. She wasn't sure if it were the shyness or the relenting want to learn, sometimes both.

The Padawan had spent many hours doing research for many different things and she had been helping out in the Archives every now and then.

She had gained the new initiates name from the data card he checked out and checked on his status and his room number in case he needed any help around the grounds or anything.

Jacali was more or less a welcome wagon, that was if she noticed them coming in.

Yulis Romanov.

The next morning, she walked towards his room. With her leg brace clicking along, lightsabre on her belt and a deep breath, she stopped at his door.

Jacali knocked.
