TSO overhaul

We've been planning stuff for a total change at TSO lately. In particular, the look of the board. I'm not sure whether or not you would want to do all of the changes all in one - in which case, I have a few more graphics to make before everything will done, but otherwise...

The list on the left is the current structure, the right is the new one. Forums with * before their name, on the left, are getting new names, e.g. Council Room > Elders Vision.

This is how I was hoping we could get it to look:

Design wise, I think it would be simple. It's just a custom header for each forum, image mapped. I downloaded the ZIP file you recently put up at Meras, for each of the small icons/buttons that needs to be altered, also - got them sorted already. It's just a couple of the banners that need finishing.

Are these changes viable? I've probably been unclear on explaining something :\

BTW, I dunno if Jen mentioend this, but the indentations mean subforums of the forum, i.e. Elder's Vision is a sub forum inside of Sith Discussion which is a sub forum inside of Great Hall.

Also, the color's have meaning on the diagram:

DARK RED = categories

RED = sith only / open forum

ORANGE = TSO sith only / closed forum

YELLOW = TSO elders only / closed forum

BLUE = all / open forum

PURPLE = TSO mods only / open forum

GREEN = OOC all / open forum

PINK = board on Meras.org

I'll be editing the descriptions slightly for those that need editing and post them here for you, Ogies.

Also, the font size for the descriptions is sorta bugging me... would it look bad or be hard to read if it were brought down one point?

Elder's Vision

Here the Elders of the Order gather to discuss issues and make decisions for those under their care.


Sith Palace

The heavily protected dwelling and sanctuary of the Sith Order, overlooking the great Corellian capitol of Coronet to it's east and the Corellian sea to it's west.

Customs Outpost

Here beings from other sectors and factions are welcome to meet in a secured area with those members of the Sith Order. One of the Mayor of Coronet's main offices can be found here, where she can be located.


Saiatah High Roller

Come one! Come all! Play, dine, shop, and relax to your hearts content! Everyone is a guaranteed winner!!

Enjoy the luxurious hotels and casinos! Come play in the amusement and water parks! Take a plunge into the synth-oceans! Dine and shop at the most extravagent restaurants and stores with cultures from around the galaxy! Also, here are some gifs I'd like used for the newfolder and lockfolder icons. The new newfolder icon is a bit more muted in color to match the skeleton's cloaks, while the new lockfolder icons match the candle light.

(Ogre - you might want to wait on using them until Jen can get them up on the site she's using for the other graphics)

Okay, changes made. I had to shorten the description for the Customs Outpost because with the image title, the description was too long to fit.

I love the new design, easy on the eyes, and nice to look at. Just a minor suggestion though.

Maybe have the left and right borders of the main banner image fade into black. As I said, very minor. :)
