Anyone else seen the trailers for this one? Now, I understand that Will Ferrell tends to do basic nonsense movies and he does a fairly decent job with it. He does make me laugh. However, how much crack were the people smoking when they came up with this as an actual movie?

Haven't seen anything except the poster. The poster makes me laugh incredibly, so my spirits are up.

I for one can't wait to see this. I missed Elf which I'm not happy about, so I won't be missing this one. Ferrell is hysterical and the trailer looks promising especially the part where he's in his chair in the studio praising his glass of scotch while the cameras are rolling and he's out to lunch!:lol

I typically don't go for Farrell movies, but my mother-in-law recommended Elf to me, and I have to say I thought it was pretty good. I don't think I'll make it to this one in the theaters, but I bet it will probably be pretty good for some laughs...
