At the risk of doing nothing and having the child and possibly the mother die, and with no other alternative, I'm sure plenty would take that risk.

My gawd. She has got the to be the bravest woman to be able to do that to herself... and all for the sake of being sure she AND the child lived.

I pray I never have to have an C-sections... though I have fears because my hips are so narrow 9I do not have child bareing hips).

you'll be fine. :) I worked on a maternity/gyn unit and most c-sect have little to do with size and more to do with the babies being in fetal distress. Thats why I had mine. >_<

But kudos to that lady. I don't think could have done it. I'd have just sat in a heap and cried for my Mom..LOL
