An ethereal tune cut through the fog, ranging from sad to energetic to pensive, but neither stopping nor going off-key. A few small animals scattered as a quiet-moving, cloaked figure followed the tune up and down the dips in the swampy terrain.
His boots splashed at a low point: the first noise, apart from the whistling, that he'd made in some time. Perhaps hours. He wasn't sure how much time had elapsed since he'd struck out from the ruins of the facility.
That had been a good day's work, that had, and he'd found himself spending the night there. A quick meal this morning and he'd headed out on foot. In some ways, he rather thought he hadn't entirely woken up. The swamp was very relaxing.
