Force Powers and Ships

1. Am I allowed Force powers if I'm not in GJO or TSE? I was just thinking of having powers to the extent of being able to tell if someone's lying or something like that...nothing too major.

2. Is it ok to have a YT-2000 as a ship? Its the CEC thing from X-Wing: Alliance.
