Backlash Battlegroup

The Formation of the Backlash battlegroup has begun.

I have Complete control over the Tabannopolis Research facility and its chiss contingent. Here the seeds of Backlash will be born.

Six Carrack Class Vessels will be delivered within the week to Bespin to be Modified and retrofitted by Chiss engineers. These six ships will form the base of the Backlash group.

Details on there Modifications is top secret at this time. I and Grand Admiral Desaria are aware of the basic design changes which will be made.

These six ship will form the strike element of the Backlash Group. Escorted by the 4 Crossfire vessels designed and built by the Chiss at the Tabannopolis Research center the Backlash group has one mission Profile.

We are to act as a flanking force for the main body of the Sovereignty fleet in the Coming war with the Federacy. We will give the Federacy a second target which it will have to deal with therefore causing Imperator Sevon to pull resources away from the strike group he will mass to attack the Sovereignty and its holdings.

I can not divulge any more of the plan for fear of the damaging the plausible deniability of Chancellor Anar and the Political Staff. as well as fore the Fleet commanders.
