Computer help needed

Um...my computer is being weird on me. It won't show up any pictures anywhere. I can't look at the bigger pictures in the gallery (although the thumbnails show from time to time), and pretty much every other picture on every other website comes up with a white box and red cross. My firewall's played me about before, but I've activated a DMZ, and it doesn't seem to be making a difference. Any advice, anyone?

I doubt it has anything to do with your firewall and everything to do with the fact that you're using a terrible web browser.

Doesn't "Vogon Engineer" mean you're big, green and ugly? Or is it that you just shout "resistance is useless" a lot? And man, your ship must be kinda sucky too...big yellow flying brick.

No. Vogon Engineering is the specialist use of extreme force in situations thast dont require it.

Internet program suite (web browser, mail, composer, etc) that is about a billion times better than Internet Explorer. Can be found at www.mozilla.org (The stand-alone browser is called FireFox, which is a favorite of many around here).

And if you'd like to complain about "It's too hard to get used to the Firefox Interface!", well, no more whining for you. There are skins that make it look almost like Internet Explorer.

And tab-based browsing will change your life. ^_^;
