Conquest of Paradise - RP Series

Well this it. I'm going through with it.... Onward to Zeltros.

This will be a series of 4 RPs:

Conquest of Paradise: Prelude
Conquest Part I: Leaving the Nest
Conquest Part II: Establishment
Conquest Part III: Solidification

In this series I shall conquer Zeltros.

Prelude, will contain the planning of the operation, Operation: Conquest of Paradise. In this thread all the preparations for this mission shall be done. The gathering/allocation of resources and the creation of a small fleet will be done.

Part I, the fleet shall make it's way system hopping to Zeltros. This may seem simple and dull but, I'm planning on throwing in pirates and the NR into the mix.

Part II, This shall be the construction phase of the stations and defense platforms, with intervention as well. Possible supply theft and destruction of components.

Part III, Completion of the station and solidifying the Sovereignty's hold on the system.

I know it all seems a bit lacking content but the plot will unfold and it shall look like a magnificent piece of art.

Your operation is approved - tentatively. Where will be/is Zeltros located? What ships do you have in mind? We are stretched - very very very - thin right now so you'll get six light cruisers at best.

Will there be anyone else participating? Or is this a solo-prestige piece?

Zeltros is located in the lower left of the upper right section of the Galactic Map.

As for ship:

2 Lancer-class
4 Carrack-class
8 Container Trans.
4 Modular Conveyors
4 Shuttles
2 Defender Squadrons

This series is open for the most part, I will be doing some solo pieces which need to be done.

Once we have this planet, Sovereignty profits should increase. Zeltros is a busy pleasure planet. They will probably fightback having a small connection to the NR. But I'm sure they can be persuaded. Just be sure not to come in contact with them. Their pheromones can be quite... Influencing.

Well for a quick description of Zeltrons, they're bright pink humanoids that have powerful pheromones which they can control at will to effect a single person or a group. It's no wonder they run a pleasure planet.

Now to plan. Answer the basic questions in Conquest of Paradise: Prelude. Why and how would the Sovereignty do this? What would they gain? Hmm... Any possibilities?

Well, if it is along our borders, then we are annexing it to secure our territorial sovereignty. They will experience a decrease in taxes, the protection of the fleet, et al.

I seem to remeber reading somewhere about these peole- they use their pheromones to win over the attackers. I'll check the reference.

Haha, you see I've plotted around that. All communications shall be done via Comm Arrays. Winning them over will be a different story. We'll highlight the place as a prime Imperial tourist spot and open our markets to them.

I have Lion's aproval to take the planet and he has agreed to run the Republic attacks on the convoy. I believe everything is set.

Just the usual. Basically what you said here, accept IC. The oh good plan go ahead with. That sort of thing ask question about what does this entail. That way it gives the readers other then yourselves to get a feel for whats going on and whta will happen. It also make contents for the story.
